The Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared” is officially returning November 2026, in celebration of the silhouette’s 35th Anniversary. Debuted in 1991, this iconic colorway is one of the most important sneakers from Michael Jordan’s championship era.

This will be the fourth release of the “White Infrared” Jordan 6. The original pair returned in 2010 as part of the “Infrared Pack,” and once again in 2014. While both retros were received well, both pairs faced criticism about the shape differences and changes to branding. Fans can expect a true-to-OG build for the 2026 “White Infrared” release, with the restoration of the 1991 mold and the original Nike Air logo on the heel.

In terms of design, the sneaker maintains what fans love: a pure white leather upper, bold infrared accents on the midsole, lace lock, heel tab, and tongue logo, and black accents to break up the colorways. A translucent outsole in icy white caps off the timeless design.

Something’s been changing in Nike’s design language lately. Performance models aren’t staying in their original lanes anymore. That shift comes through clearly with the Naked Copenhagen x Nike Shox Z Calistra, which trades a traditional runner feel for something more styled and deliberate.

Seen at first it’s deceivingly simple. Then texture starts to pop. Glossy black on the upper finishes it off, but it’s those molded creases up and down the forefoot that demand attention. It has a rigid feel to it as if they pressed it on rather than constructed it pieced by piece. Cut outs pepper the sides and heel ever so slightly to give it some separation. But the strap is what takes it over the edge. It offers a whole new fit while muting the silhouette from looking strictly athletic.

Nike Shox make a comeback with the tooling on the Calistra. Columns up the heel are subtle and don’t overwhelm the shoe. They rest low and act as an extension of the shoe rather than their own detail. It’s that perfect combination that makes the cushioning look like it’s part of the style.

Branding stays quiet, which works in its favor. Nothing feels forced here. It’s more about shape, finish, and how the whole thing comes together.

April 16, 2003 closed a defining chapter in basketball history, as Michael Jordan played his final NBA game in Philadelphia. For that moment, he wore the Air Jordan 18 “White/Sport Royal”, a sneaker that now stands as the last model seen on his feet during his professional career.

Released during his final run with the Washington Wizards, the colorway carried subtle ties to that era. A clean white upper is paired with Sport Royal accents, giving the shoe a sharp and balanced look that reflects the team’s identity without overcomplicating the design.

The Air Jordan 18 also marked a shift in design language. Drawing influence from Italian dress shoes and Formula 1 engineering, the model introduced a more refined and structured build. Its one-piece leather upper delivers a smooth finish, while the signature shroud covers the lacing system for a sleek appearance. Metallic detailing and royal blue hits across the lining and midsole add contrast while keeping the look elevated.

Performance remained a priority as well. The sneaker featured full-length Zoom Air cushioning and a carbon fiber plate, aligning with Jordan Brand’s push toward innovation at the time.

Last seen in retro form in January 2018, the Air Jordan 18 “White/Sport Royal” continues to hold significance among collectors. Today, pairs are mostly found on the resale market like StockX, with pricing depending on size and condition.
