As summer sports reach their peak, Jordan Brand is lining up a release that taps directly into that energy. Scheduled for September 2026, the Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” lands during the final stretch of the US Open, giving the story real timing and purpose instead of feeling like a random colorway.

This release pulls inspiration from Nike’s Air Tech Challenge line, the same series that defined Andre Agassi’s on-court style in the 1990s. The Air Jordan 7 uses Phantom, Lemon Twist, Pink Blast, and Anthracite to echo that bold tennis-era attitude. Internally, Jordan Brand is even referring to it as “Tennis Day Colors,” which confirms how intentional the crossover is.

Built with balance in mind, the model is expected to feature a mesh base with nubuck overlays, staying close to the Air Jordan 7s original construction. The splatter detailing is a direct nod to the Air Tech Challenge 2 and acts as the strongest visual bridge between both worlds. Flat laces keep the presentation clean and let the colors speak.

Air Jordan 7 Tennis Day Release Date

The Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” will release September 9, 2026 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. Available in adult and grade school sizing, the retail price tag is set at $215 and $155, respectively.
