Thirty years after Space Jam first hit theaters, Jordan Brand is going back to the movie’s production days for a new Air Jordan 11 “Green Screen.” The colorway takes its name from the green screen setup used during filming, when Michael Jordan shared the court with performers standing in for the Looney Tunes and Monstars before the animation was added later.

Nearly the entire shoe is covered in bright green. Instead of the usual ballistic mesh and patent leather, this pair uses suede and other tonal materials across the mudguard, tongue, eyelets, laces, and collar. The midsole is green too, giving the shoe a look that feels much closer to something from a movie set than a standard Air Jordan 11.

The outsole breaks up all that green with translucent glow-in-the-dark rubber and bright orange traction pods. Once the lights go out, the sole gives off a strong green glow, which plays right into the green screen theme without needing much explanation.

More Space Jam references show up in the smaller details. The insoles feature Michael Jordan stretching out for his game-winning dunk, with Bugs Bunny worked into the scene below. Tonal “23” branding lands on the heels, while the Jumpman logos blend into the green panels around the ankle.

Jordan Brand also gave the release its own special packaging. The bright green box mixes Jumpman branding with artwork inspired by the Monstars, while Tune Squad and Monstars logos appear across the front. Inside, a clapperboard graphic reads “SJ 30th” and references Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. Custom tissue paper is covered with sketches, characters, basketball graphics, and other nods to the film.

Air Jordan 11 Green Screen Release Date

The Air Jordan 11 “Green Screen” will release on November 14, 2026, through select Jordan Brand NBHD retailers for $255. The date lands just one day before Space Jam celebrates its 30th anniversary.
