Thirty years after Space Jam first hit theaters, Jordan Brand is digging into the movie’s production history for one of its strangest Air Jordan 11 releases yet. Newly surfaced in-hand photos reveal the “Green Screen” colorway, a pair built around the visual effects work that helped bring the Looney Tunes and Monstars to life alongside Michael Jordan.

Nearly every part of the shoe is covered in a bright green finish. Instead of the usual ballistic mesh and patent leather combination, the upper uses suede and other tonal materials across the mudguard, tongue, eyelets, laces, and collar. Even the midsole receives a textured green treatment, giving the entire sneaker the look of a prop pulled directly from a film set.

The mostly uniform color blocking changes beneath the shoe. Translucent glow-in-the-dark outsoles run from heel to toe, while vivid orange rubber appears across the main traction zones. When the lights go out, the sole produces a strong green glow that fits naturally with the colorway’s screen-production theme.

Details tied to the movie appear throughout the pair. The insoles feature Michael Jordan completing his extended game-winning dunk over the Monstars, with Bugs Bunny positioned near the bottom of the image. Tonal “23” branding lands along the heel tabs, while the usual Jumpman logos blend into the green panels around the ankle.

Jordan Brand also created special packaging for the release rather than placing the shoes inside a standard Air Jordan 11 box. The bright green exterior combines Jumpman branding with artwork inspired by the Monstars, while Tune Squad and Monstars logos appear along the front. Inside, a clapperboard graphic reads “SJ 30th” and references Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. Custom tissue paper completes the presentation with sketches, characters, basketball graphics, and other references from the film.

Air Jordan 11 Green Screen Release Date

The Air Jordan 11 “Green Screen” will release November 16, 2026, through select Jordan Brand NBHD retailers. Men’s pairs will be priced at $255, with grade school sizing also expected.
