Jordan Brand is continuing its work with Howard University with another Air Jordan 1 Low OG planned for 2026. The school has received several exclusive Jordan releases over the years, while only a small number have made their way to the public.

Howard’s 2023 Air Jordan 1 Low PE helped bring more attention to the partnership before Jordan Brand released a similar version in 2024. That pair used a mostly white setup with navy and red accents. The next release takes a darker approach, using Midnight Navy across much of the shoe with red and white details tied to Howard’s school colors.

One of the more noticeable changes comes from the exposed stitching around the Swoosh. Howard Bison branding also appears near the heel, giving the shoe a direct connection to the university without changing too much of the original Air Jordan 1 Low OG design.

Howard athletes have received several Jordan Brand player exclusives over the years, including versions of the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 6. Public releases connected to the school have been much harder to come by, making this only the second Howard Air Jordan 1 Low expected to receive a wider retail launch.
