The colorway is set to play a key role in Jordan Brand’s Spring 2026 lineup, with a March release currently expected. Originally debuting in 2006, the UNC-inspired look pairs a black suede upper with University Blue and metallic silver accents. A full family-size release is slated for March 21st, 2026.

It’s time to break out your UNC socks because the Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue” is making its long-awaited return in Spring 2026! After nearly two decades since its 2006 release, this fan-favorite retro is returning for its 20th Anniversary with all the style and speed of a Ferrari—literally.

Jordan Brand continues revving the LS engine, revisiting gems like the “Burgundy” 5s and “Olive” 4s. Now, this sleek Jordan 14 joins the lineup, dressed in smooth black nubuck and splashed with bold University Blue accents. It’s a tribute to MJ’s Tar Heel roots—and a visual slap of nostalgia for longtime fans.

Design-wise, it’s staying loyal to the OG. The bright blue hits along the midsole, heel tab, Jumpman logos, and shank plate add that sporty edge. Meanwhile, the Ferrari-inspired shield and aerodynamic lines give it that signature speed aesthetic. Bonus points if you make “vroom” noises while lacing them up—we won’t judge.

Black University Blue Jordan 14 2026 Release Date

The Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue” will release on March 21, 2026. Expect a drop on Nike.com and at select Jordan retailers. Men’s pairs will retail for $205 USD, with grade school sizing priced at $155.
