Lil Yachty Shares Concrete Boys x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “2006 All-Star”

Lil Yachty is once again tapping into early 2000s energy, this time revealing a Concrete Boys x Nike Air Force 1 Mid inspired by the iconic 2006 All-Star release. The pair surfaced during NBA All-Star Weekend, but unlike typical drops, this version is strictly a personal sample and not expected to release publicly.

A product shot of the Nike Air Force 1 Low All-Star from 2006
Nike Air Force 1 Low “All-Star (2006)

The design pulls directly from the original Air Force 1 Low “All-Star” color scheme, keeping its bold, era-defining look intact. However, it introduces subtle updates, including metal eyelets and Concrete Boys branding across the tongue and heel. A sample stamp inside the lining confirms its exclusivity, positioning the sneaker more as a statement piece than a retail product.

This reveal arrives at a time when Nike is actively refocusing the Air Force 1 line. After a period of oversaturation and inconsistent design direction, the brand has shifted back toward what made the silhouette resonate in the first place. That includes glossy patent leather finishes and styling cues rooted in the mid-2000s, a direction that continues to gain traction.

Yachty has already played a role in that resurgence, previously showcasing patent-heavy designs that echo the influence of Nigo-era aesthetics. This latest pair reinforces that same vision while highlighting how personal storytelling and archival inspiration are shaping the model’s next phase.

Even though this specific Air Force 1 Mid won’t hit shelves, it reflects a broader movement. Nike is leaning into nostalgic design language, with more patent leather executions, collaborations, and performance-driven variations expected to roll out through 2026.

Nike GT Future “Galaxy Aura” Releases March 2026

The Nike GT Future continues to build momentum as one of Nike Basketball’s most talked-about new silhouettes. Since its early previews, the model has sparked constant comparisons to classic Foamposite designs, although some argue its closest relative is actually the Hyperflight. Still, that hasn’t slowed down the community, with many imagining how iconic Foamposite colorways would translate onto this futuristic build—and surprisingly, many concepts feel right at home.

Now, that idea becomes reality with a cosmic-inspired update. Drawing clear influence from the legendary Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy, Nike introduces the Nike GT Future “Galaxy Aura”, a Spring 2026 release that channels one of the most recognizable sneaker themes of the modern era.

Instead of leaning on the original Galaxy’s purple-heavy palette, this version shifts to a darker, more controlled look. The molded upper features a sleek black shell with a vivid nebula graphic in green, yellow, and subtle orange along the lateral side. The effect feels more focused, giving the shoe a sharper, performance-driven edge. A glossy black Swoosh blends into the sculpted paneling, while speckled details mimic scattered stars.

The construction reinforces its futuristic identity. A seamless, Foamposite-like upper features flowing ridges from toe to heel, creating a fluid sense of motion. Perforations at the midfoot add breathability, while the outsole uses geometric traction with a bold green GT Future plate for contrast.

Adding another layer to its rollout, Nike has already dropped the “Galaxy Aura” digitally through Fortnite, blending gaming culture with sneaker launches in a way that continues to evolve how releases are introduced.

Nike GT Future Galaxy Aura Release Date

The Nike GT Future “Galaxy Aura” is scheduled to release on March 30, 2026, priced at $210 USD via Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com.

Kawhi Leonard Debuts New Balance Kawhi 5 During All-Star Weekend

Kawhi Leonard used one of basketball’s biggest stages to quietly introduce his next signature shoe. During NBA All-Star Weekend, he debuted the New Balance Kawhi 5 and delivered a standout performance, scoring 31 points in limited minutes and putting immediate attention on the new model.

The Kawhi 5 reflects New Balance Basketball’s evolving direction. Early images show a design that builds on the brand’s recent performance silhouettes, combining sculpted sidewalls with layered mesh and synthetic materials. A larger “N” logo is integrated into the upper, giving the shoe a more defined identity on court.

The build leans toward a low-cut profile, suggesting a focus on responsiveness and lockdown support. The midsole appears streamlined but stable, aligning with Leonard’s controlled and efficient playing style. While official tech details have not yet been confirmed, the overall construction points toward a balance of breathability, structure, and on-court stability.

Debuting the Kawhi 5 during All-Star Weekend signals strong confidence from both Leonard and New Balance as the brand continues to grow its basketball category. The model represents another step forward in refining its performance lineup heading into 2026.

An official release date has not yet been announced, but the New Balance Kawhi 5 is expected to arrive later this year.

Ja Morant Reveals Giraffe-Inspired Nike Ja 3 “Ja Raffe”

Ja Morant continues to shape his own rollout strategy, using All-Star Weekend as the stage to introduce the Nike Ja 3 “Ja Raffe” colorway. Instead of relying on early leaks, Morant shared the pair himself, immediately pulling attention and driving conversation across social platforms. The approach feels intentional and on-brand, keeping the spotlight on the athlete while building anticipation in real time.

This Nike Ja 3 colorway moves in a more playful direction. The upper features a giraffe-inspired pattern, blending brown and tan tones that mirror the animal’s natural markings. A bright pink Swoosh cuts across the side, adding contrast and reinforcing Ja’s preference for bold accents. Below, a darker midsole wraps around responsive cushioning, while sharp traction details give the shoe a fast, aggressive look on-court.

Performance remains a key focus with the Nike Ja 3. The low-cut build supports quick movements, while responsive foam and multi-directional grip cater to explosive play styles. The sculpted midsole adds both visual energy and functional support, aligning with Morant’s speed and elevation.

Morant’s hands-on approach to revealing his sneakers continues to stand out. By controlling how and when new pairs are introduced, he keeps engagement centered around his brand rather than outside sources. It’s a strategy that connects well with today’s audience and keeps each drop feeling personal.

Nike has yet to confirm official release details, but the Nike Ja 3 “Ja Raffe” could possibly be part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 lineup. More information should surface soon as anticipation builds.

Rob Dillingham Set To Release His Own Nike GT Cut 4 PE

Rob Dillingham’s next chapter is already taking shape, and Nike is making sure he steps into it with confidence. The young Chicago guard has secured his own Nike GT Cut 4 PE, signaling continued belief from the Swoosh as he transitions into a bigger opportunity on a new roster built for growth.

This moment follows a broader Nike Basketball strategy that highlights rising talent through exclusive footwear. Over the past year, similar PE treatments have been seen for names like Reed Sheppard and Dylan Harper, reinforcing Nike’s focus on building early identity with its next wave of stars. Dillingham’s inclusion in that lineup adds weight to his trajectory as one of the league’s most promising young guards.

His Nike GT Cut 4 PE leans into a refined yet striking design. Metallic silver and gold tones dominate the upper, giving the shoe a polished look without losing its on-court edge. The color execution aligns with the GT Cut line’s recent direction, where bold finishes meet performance-driven construction. On the heel, the design gets personal. Dillingham’s “Rob With Da Shifts” branding appears through a gear-inspired logo that cleverly ties into his “RD4” nickname.

Beyond aesthetics, the GT Cut 4 remains built for quick guards who rely on change of pace and sharp movement. That makes it a natural fit for Dillingham’s game, which thrives on creativity and control in tight spaces.

Looking ahead, the Nike GT Cut 4 “Rob Dillingham” PE is expected to release as part of Nike Basketball’s Fall 2026 lineup. While official retail details are still limited, the drop will likely align with broader seasonal launches tied to the GT series.

Thrasher x Nike SB Blazer Mid Celebrates 45th Anniversary

Thrasher Magazine’s influence in skateboarding runs deep, shaping both skate culture and streetwear for decades. As one of the most recognizable voices in the space, its iconic flame logo has extended far beyond skateparks and into everyday fashion. That legacy now reaches another milestone, as the brand marks its 45th anniversary with a fresh take on a familiar Nike SB silhouette.

Revisiting a partnership that dates back to the mid-2000s, Thrasher and Nike SB reconnect on the SB Blazer with a design that flips the original concept. This latest version leans into a darker aesthetic, featuring a black suede upper paired with off-white and pale gold accents. The look stays clean and intentional, with Thrasher branding stamped on the heel to tie everything back to its roots.

The timing of the release aligns with All-Star Weekend energy, helping build quick momentum around the drop. Unlike traditional launches, this release moved fast, with pairs already available through pre-order shortly after being revealed.

Retail is set at $110, with shipments expected to arrive in June. Quantities are said to be limited, reinforcing the exclusivity tied to both brands and their shared history within skate culture.

Pharrell’s adidas Jellyfish “Royal Blue” and “Triple Black” Releases February 21st

Pharrell Williams continues to expand his adidas VIRGINIA vision with the latest adidas Adistar Jellyfish release, now arriving in two new colorways. After early previews throughout 2025, both the “Triple Black” and “Royal Blue” editions are set for a wider global launch.

Momentum around the model has been building following its Footwear News 2025 Shoe of the Year recognition. The “Triple Black” pair first surfaced in New York City through an exclusive drop at Billionaire Boys Club on Mercer Street. Meanwhile, Las Vegas hosted a limited release of the “Royal Blue” colorway, which quickly sold out. Now, both versions are finally reaching a broader audience.

From a design standpoint, the sneaker stands out with its bold, wave-inspired midsole, drawing influence from the fluid motion of jellyfish gills. The upper features layered mesh construction combined with an exoskeleton-like framework, creating a sense of depth and movement. Glow-in-the-dark accents further push the experimental aesthetic, reinforcing the futuristic identity tied to Pharrell’s VIRGINIA creative direction.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low EM Protro “Thunder Blue” Set For Spring 2026 Release

Nike Basketball continues to build on Kobe Bryant’s legacy with the upcoming Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low EM Protro “Thunder Blue”, a Spring 2026 release that keeps the model’s performance roots intact while refreshing its visual identity for today’s game.

Arriving in a Thunder Blue, Laser Orange, Football Grey, and Daybreak color mix, the sneaker leans into contrast and energy. A deep blue heel anchors the design, while bright orange accents hit the Swoosh, eyelets, and detailing for a sharp pop. The engineered mesh upper returns in a subtle purple tone, delivering breathability and lightweight support that defined the original Kobe 9 EM line.

Underfoot, the model stays true to its performance DNA. The low-profile midsole and anatomical outsole provide responsive court feel, helping maintain the quick, precise movement guards rely on. A structured heel counter and streamlined padding add stability without sacrificing speed, reinforcing why the Kobe 9 remains a trusted option for fast-paced play.

This release also reflects Nike’s broader push to reintroduce Kobe-era silhouettes to a new generation. With renewed interest in performance-driven basketball footwear, the Kobe line continues to regain momentum both on and off the court.

The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low EM Protro “Thunder Blue” is expected to release in March 2026 available at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $190 USD.

Nike Air Max 95 “Leather Pack” Steps Into Earth-Toned Territory

Earth tones have been making a comeback with Nike lately, and these new releases are no exception. The Nike Air Max 95 “Leather Pack” brings a more casual take on the iconic silhouette. As you may have guessed, both sneakers receive an updated, slimmer fit inspired by lifestyle shoes.

Mesh takes a backseat on both shoes, allowing Nike to outfit each sneaker with full leather uppers. This simple switch helps clean up the silhouette while maintaining its original flavor. You’ll still notice the distinct layered panels, as well as a petite jewel toned Swoosh and black midsole to provide contrast. The Max Units can also be spotted underfoot, colored to blend in with each shoe’s upper.

One option works through cargo khaki and olive tones, creating a muted, almost military-style look. The other leans warmer, mixing tan, flax, and brown shades that feel more seasonal but still easy to wear daily.

There’s a noticeable shift here toward versatility. Although released in women’s sizing, the neutral build makes both pairs wearable across the board, pointing to a wider lifestyle push for the model.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Leather Pack” releases February 23, 2026 for $195 via Nike.com and select retailers.

The Swooshless Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Appears in “Game Royal Blue”

Nike’s early-2000s runners have left a lasting impression on today’s rotation, continuing that lineage with yet another pared-back approach. Taking things back to basics, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Swooshless “Game Royal Blue” debuts for Spring 2026.

Nike strips back logos and branding here, allowing hue and construction to speak for itself. Royal Blue and Game Royal uppers take center stage from heel to toe, utilizing suede overlays across the midfoot with mesh accents made of textured TPU ribbons. Removing the typical lateral Swoosh, small embroidered text near the toe and heel offer Nike’s signature in a minimal sense while the layered construction takes center stage visually.

Black accents trim the laces, tongue, lining, and outsole, providing visual interest while grounding the overall aesthetic. The tongue tag adds a small homage to the performance history of the Vomero, giving a taste of that early-2000’s vibes without going overboard.

Lighter Sail tops up the look underfoot, contrasting the monochromatic blue while encasing portions of Zoom Air units. Zoom Vomero retains that performance ethos with the addition of Nike’s Air tech, but feels more lifestyle-driven than most.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Swooshless “Game Royal Blue” will be available to buy Spring 2026 on Nike.com and select retailers for $160.

Jordan Brand Softens The Air Jordan 4 RM With “Psychic Blue”

Soft pastels continue to influence Jordan Brand womenswear this season. Overall, this release comes across softer than many of the recent AJ4 drops have. Playing more clean instead of loud. Pale Ivory and Aura establish a toned down foundation while brighter blue panels maintain that athletic edge.

The Air Jordan 4 RM “Psychic Blue” uses breathable Pale Ivory mesh across the midfoot. Plush Aura suede frames the toe and lower quarters. Glossy Psychic Blue TPU wings stretch from midfoot to heel, doubling as eyelet supports. A faint grid texture sits beneath the “NIKE AIR” mark on the back, keeping branding sharp but controlled.

Underfoot, a Pale Ivory and Psychic Blue midsole houses the exposed heel Air unit. The outsole blends Aura and pale blue rubber in a modified herringbone pattern. The padded Aura tongue carries a tonal Jumpman, while the sockliner returns to Psychic Blue with a white logo inside. The design reads more lifestyle than performance, signaling a quieter direction for the RM line.

The Air Jordan 4 RM “Psychic Blue” launches Spring 2026 exclusively at Nike.com and select retailers.

Nike ST Charge Debuts At NBA All-Star Weekend 2026

Nike Basketball’s ST (Street Tough) series is quickly evolving from a niche, China-focused concept into one of the brand’s most intriguing performance lines. Originally created to meet the demands of outdoor basketball culture in China, the ST lineup has grown into a full sub-category that’s now catching attention globally.

The series first launched in Summer 2025 with the ST Flare, a low-cut model built for durability and affordability on rough outdoor courts. It later expanded with the ST Glow and the kids-exclusive ST Dynamite, both gaining traction for their unique design language and purpose-driven build.

During NBA All-Star Weekend 2026 in Los Angeles, Nike introduced the latest model—the ST Charge—marking the first time the China-exclusive line was showcased on a global stage. Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham unveiled the shoe in a bold “Warning Label” colorway, highlighting its performance capabilities.

The ST Charge is equipped with Cushlon 3.0 foam and a Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot, delivering responsive cushioning suited for both streetball runs and full-court play. Its standout “MonSTer Skin” upper is engineered for durability against concrete surfaces, while also leaning into a textured, lifestyle-inspired aesthetic similar to popular modern basketball silhouettes.

Nike has also developed multiple colorways that blur the line between performance and fashion, reinforcing how basketball sneakers continue to live both on and off the court.

For now, the Nike ST Charge remains exclusive to Greater China, with no official word on a wider global release—leaving hoopers elsewhere hoping that changes soon.

Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 18 “White/Sport Royal”

April 16, 2003 closed a defining chapter in basketball history, as Michael Jordan played his final NBA game in Philadelphia. For that moment, he wore the Air Jordan 18 “White/Sport Royal”, a sneaker that now stands as the last model seen on his feet during his professional career.

Released during his final run with the Washington Wizards, the colorway carried subtle ties to that era. A clean white upper is paired with Sport Royal accents, giving the shoe a sharp and balanced look that reflects the team’s identity without overcomplicating the design.

The Air Jordan 18 also marked a shift in design language. Drawing influence from Italian dress shoes and Formula 1 engineering, the model introduced a more refined and structured build. Its one-piece leather upper delivers a smooth finish, while the signature shroud covers the lacing system for a sleek appearance. Metallic detailing and royal blue hits across the lining and midsole add contrast while keeping the look elevated.

Performance remained a priority as well. The sneaker featured full-length Zoom Air cushioning and a carbon fiber plate, aligning with Jordan Brand’s push toward innovation at the time.

Last seen in retro form in January 2018, the Air Jordan 18 “White/Sport Royal” continues to hold significance among collectors. Today, pairs are mostly found on the resale market like StockX, with pricing depending on size and condition.

Hellstar x adidas AE 2 “Black Camo” Debuted During NBA All-Star Weekend

Anthony Edwards continues to build momentum around his second signature model, this time unveiling a darker follow-up to the earlier Hellstar collaboration. After the debut of the “Desert Camo” version, a new Hellstar x adidas AE 2 “Black Camo” has surfaced during NBA All-Star Weekend, signaling that the partnership still has more to offer.

This updated pair leans into a stealth-driven look. Black and grey woodland camouflage lands specifically on the micro-perforated side panels, giving the shoe a more controlled and focused design compared to the all-over camo treatment seen on the Desert version. Glossy black overlays add depth, while metallic silver vents return, maintaining continuity across both colorways.

Branding plays a key role in shifting the tone. Hellstar logos appear on the tongue, ankle, and heel in a bold red finish, replacing the bright green accents used previously. The darker palette gives the shoe a more aggressive feel, while small details like alternate white and red laces provide subtle contrast. There are also hints that the outsole may carry matching red-tinted branding, similar to the earlier release.

At this stage, release details remain unclear. The “Desert Camo” pair was limited to a Los Angeles activation, raising questions about whether this “Black Camo” version will see a wider drop or remain exclusive. With two colorways now in rotation, attention turns to which pair Edwards will showcase on-court as All-Star Weekend continues.

Frank Cooke Reveals The Nike GT Future “Galaxy”

UPDATE 2/16/26: Official images of the Nike GT Future “Galaxy” have surfaced, revealing a different direction from the pair previously shared by Frank Cooke.

The retail version features a sleek black molded upper with a vivid green and yellow nebula graphic, delivering a more controlled, performance-driven look. Subtle speckled details and a glossy black Swoosh keep the focus on the cosmic theme, while a bold green GT Future plate adds contrast underfoot.

The Nike GT Future “Galaxy” is now expected to release on March 30th, 2026, priced at $210 USD.

Original Story 2/14/26:
Nike Basketball’s GT Future continues to build momentum heading into 2026, and its latest reveal taps directly into one of the brand’s most iconic themes. Unveiled by longtime Nike designer Frank Cooke, the upcoming Nike GT Future “Galaxy” introduces a bold, space-inspired finish that immediately connects to the legacy of Foamposite-era storytelling while pushing the silhouette forward.

First introduced during last year’s All-Star Weekend and later co-signed by Wale, the GT Future has steadily gained traction as a modern performance model with clear design callbacks. Its molded upper and futuristic shape borrow cues from classics like the Foamposite One and Hyperflight, giving it a familiar yet evolved identity within Nike Basketball’s lineup.

This “Galaxy” edition builds on that foundation with a darker blue base, layered with scattered star detailing across the upper. However, instead of recreating a static space print, the design leans into motion. A burst of color radiates from the midfoot and wraps around the heel, creating the effect of a universe forming in real time. Subtle black Swooshes blend into the upper, allowing the graphic to take center stage.

As expected, the theme is completed with a glow-in-the-dark outsole, reinforcing its connection to past “Galaxy” releases while adding a modern edge. The execution feels less like a retro callback and more like a reimagining of the concept for a new generation.

The Nike GT Future “Galaxy” is currently scheduled to release March 30th, 2026 for $210 USD.
