Hellstar x adidas AE 2 “Black Camo” Debuted During NBA All-Star Weekend

Anthony Edwards continues to build momentum around his second signature model, this time unveiling a darker follow-up to the earlier Hellstar collaboration. After the debut of the “Desert Camo” version, a new Hellstar x adidas AE 2 “Black Camo” has surfaced during NBA All-Star Weekend, signaling that the partnership still has more to offer.

This updated pair leans into a stealth-driven look. Black and grey woodland camouflage lands specifically on the micro-perforated side panels, giving the shoe a more controlled and focused design compared to the all-over camo treatment seen on the Desert version. Glossy black overlays add depth, while metallic silver vents return, maintaining continuity across both colorways.

Branding plays a key role in shifting the tone. Hellstar logos appear on the tongue, ankle, and heel in a bold red finish, replacing the bright green accents used previously. The darker palette gives the shoe a more aggressive feel, while small details like alternate white and red laces provide subtle contrast. There are also hints that the outsole may carry matching red-tinted branding, similar to the earlier release.

At this stage, release details remain unclear. The “Desert Camo” pair was limited to a Los Angeles activation, raising questions about whether this “Black Camo” version will see a wider drop or remain exclusive. With two colorways now in rotation, attention turns to which pair Edwards will showcase on-court as All-Star Weekend continues.
