Nike Air Foamposite One “Cough Drop” Releases September 30th

UPDATE 9/27/15: The “Cough Drop” Nike Foamposite One releases September 30th via SNKRS for $240 USD.

Original Story:
Nike will continue to revisit old favorites with the Nike Air Foamposite One “Cough Drop” returning in August 2025. The retro drop pays homage to the original colorway that originally released in 2007 and quickly became a fan favorite due to its popular styling.

The 2025 release will offer up the same deep black Foam shell and also reintroduces the fan favorite red translucent bottom, as opposed to the matte red outsole we saw on the “samples” from Nike’s most recent SNKRS Showcase product preview.

The Swoosh logos, heel tabs, and tongue piping also receive a red hue. The black suede eyelets and mesh tongue of the shoe only further accentuate its rugged look and feel. It also pairs these aesthetics with carbon fiber midfoot shanks.

In recent years, there have been some underwhelming Foamposite colorways. However, when it comes to the “Cough Drop,” its styling is further proof that certain styles are forever. The shoe still holds up today as it pairs its heritage design with a street-ready colorway.

Nike Dunk High Yeezy 2 “Solar Red” Sample Revealed

The Nike Dunk High Yeezy 2 “Solar Red” Sample has surfaced, revealing a rarely seen glimpse at Nike’s Kanye West era. Just revealed by collector @clamskicks, this never before seen pair is an ode to the Kanye West classic Air Yeezy 2 “Solar Red” from 2012.

The Dunk High has a black construction of suede, mesh, and croc-style textured leather on the heel panels. Bright Solar Red lining and a glow in the dark green outsole finalize the unmistakable Yeezy silhouette. It’s that juxtaposition of loud contrast and texture that made the Yeezy 2 one of the most celebrated sneakers ever released.

Word goes that Nike did in fact do Dunk High editions of all three Yeezy 2 colorways, yet the only one to ever see the light of day was the “Red October” variation. Other crossovers like this popped up on the Foamposite and Air Force 1 when Kanye was teaming up with Nike in the 2010s.

While this Solar Red-themed Dunk never made it to retail, it’s an interesting “what if” scenario for the silhouette. In the same way, this new sample from a Yeezy 2 “Solar Red” continues Kanye’s Nike dialog. So long as the hype around his output is alive, new leaks and samples will be thrown in as fuel.

The Nike Dunk High Yeezy 2 “Solar Red” Sample will most likely never be released, but fans now know what they were missing.

After making waves in 2018, this iconic sneaker is returning for Fall 2025 with a key upgrade: Nike’s beloved Big Bubble Air unit. This chunky midsole not only amps up the comfort, but also revives the silhouette’s true 1995 spirit. Because let’s be honest—bigger is better when it comes to visible Air.

The gradient greys on the upper are lighter this time around, giving a fresh feel to the classic runner. Red hits on the lace loops, tongue branding, and visible Air units add that signature “Solar Red” pop sneakerheads crave. Add in white mesh and outlined Swooshes and you’ve got retro done right.

Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 3 “Laser” Finally Releasing Fall 2026

The Air Jordan 3 “Laser” will finally release in Fall 2026, more than two decades after it was first created. Originally designed in 2003 for Michael Jordan’s 40th birthday, this pair never reached retail and remained one of the rarest player exclusives in Jordan Brand history. Only a few photos of the shoe were released, leading to rumors that as few as 40 pairs were made.

Air Jordan 3 Laser PE designed for Michael Jordan’s 40th birthday in 2003, featuring intricate laser-etched details.
Michael Jordan’s exclusive Air Jordan 3 “Laser” PE, created in 2003 to celebrate his 40th birthday.

This highly-anticipated reissue is true to the original early sample but with the tweaks necessary for a retail drop. Swapping the elephant print overlays, the shoe instead boasts detailed laser etching all over the upper. Starting with a Phantom base, the shoe acts as a blank canvas for the art. Tan leather lining and multi-color accents are found throughout the rest of the shoe to break up the monotony. It’s a White midsole with Black and Grey accents that keep everything grounded. Finishing things off is the laser-engraved Nike Air logo on the heel.

For collectors, the “Laser” Air Jordan 3 is so much more than just another retro. This is a Jordan Brand story made available for the first time to be added to the lore and of course, to their collections. Fans who have been privy to the mysterious legend throughout the early aughts have been eagerly anticipating this day.

Air Jordan 8 “Cavs” Releases Fall 2026

The Air Jordan 8 “Cavs” is scheduled to drop in Fall 2026. Known officially as “Take Flight”, this pair earned its “Cavs” nickname thanks to the Black, Racer Blue and Safety Orange colorway. This color palette was highly reminiscent of the fan-favorite Air Jordan 4 “Cavs” that was released back in 2012.

Early previews of the shoe appear to have a mostly Black nubuck upper accented with Racer Blue and Safety Orange on the overlays and tongue logo. A Blue heel pull tab and solid Black outsole is also anticipated. As always, keep in mind these are early mock-ups and some elements may change slightly by the time the shoe releases.

The Air Jordan 8 has been synonymous with Jordan’s 1990s reign, and this new “Cavs” edition continues that narrative, further evolving the rich history of this iconic silhouette. The combination of retro inspiration and modern execution feels like a strategic play from Jordan Brand. This was a smart call for sneakerheads that missed out on the Air Jordan 4 “Cavs.”

Air Jordan 8 Joins The BIN 23 Series in 2026

The Air Jordan 8 BIN 23 will debut in Fall 2026 as part of the revival of Jordan Brand’s famed BIN 23 series. This upcoming pair arrives in Fir, University Red, and Muslin, retailing for $350. Early mock-ups show a green suede upper with cream and red detailing, and the collection’s signature BIN wax stamp.

The BIN 23 collection was initially introduced in 2010 as a retro series of well-known Air Jordan silhouettes. The shoes offered were produced in limited quantities and were made to reflect a higher level of luxury. All shoes included the red BIN stamp, representing the elevated detail and exclusivity of the line. Now, Jordan Brand is bringing back the Bin23 series, starting with the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 6, and the Air Jordan 8 will also join this new 2026 lineup.

This new rendition of the Air Jordan 8 is a step up in the silhouette, with the plush uppers and luxe finishes that are signature to the BIN series. The combination of throwback design and contemporary refinement is what will be key for sneakerheads.

Air Jordan 1 High OG “Elephant Print Swoosh” Releases December 2025

The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Elephant Print Swoosh” is a December 2025 release that reimagines a classic silhouette through a bold, creative lens. It marries heritage with modern updates to stand out from previous Air Jordan 1 releases.

Shaped in Sail, University Red, Pale Ivory, and Coconut Milk, the shoe has a versatile neutral canvas accented by striking details. It features the elephant print Swoosh, one of Jordan Brand’s most recognizable design patterns, and embroidered Jumpman logos on the toe box in place of a traditional leather patch.

There is also a milky translucent outsole that conceals large “Flight” lettering underfoot, a connection to Jordan’s timeless branding. Vintage-inspired exposed foam tongues and red Nike Air tags/heel stitching offer just enough contrast to the muted palette. It’s the blend of old and new, known and unexpected, that make this release so exciting.

Fans of the Air Jordan 1 who love a release that tells a story will be intrigued by this one’s many cross-era references. The elephant print is a direct callback to Jordan’s golden era, while the embroidered Jumpman logo has a more experimental, future-forward feel. We imagine this pair will fuel much discussion in the sneaker community.

Union x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” Releases February 2026

UPDATE 9/27/25: First look at the Fragment x Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” has surfaced via @chilung87 on IG. The sneaker release is expected in February 2026 with a retail price of $205 USD.

Original Story:
Two of Jordan Brand’s best collaborators have reunited for the brand’s roster for 2026, as Union LA and Fragment Design are back together again. The collection consists of three Air Jordan 1 Highs, headlined by the new “Top 3″ (Varsity Red/Sport Royal) edition.

The three Air Jordan 1s in the Union Fragment Jordan 1 collection come in a variety of styles and colorways. The “Black/White”, will reportedly be the most rare of the three as a Japan-excluisve, with only 4,700 pairs on the market. The “Sport Royal” version has the AJ1 “Neutral Grey” as a base and the AJ1 “Royal” as an inspiration, with a drop of 15,000 pairs. The “Top 3” is the centerpiece of the pack, as it borrows heavily from the AJ1 “Bred” and the Fragment’s 2014 Jordan 1 collaboration, which has 44,000 pairs.

The “Top 3” edition culls from some of the most sought-after Air Jordan 1s in history. The original AJ1 “Bred” in 1985 connected Michael Jordan to his Chicago Bulls heritage, and the 2014 Fragment x Jordan 1, which mashed up the “Royal” and “Black Toe,” quickly became a modern-day grail. Union’s take on this colorway has visible stitching, chalked edges, and their signature “UN/LA” label, taking the silhouette in a new, deconstructed direction. The collision of these two worlds is a huge reason why this release is so appealing.

Union Fragment Air Jordan 1 Top 3 Release Date

The Union x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” will release in February 2026 for $205 USD. It will launch through Union LA, Fragment Design, Jordan Brand retailers, and possibly on SNKRS.

adidas Consortium x Mercedes-AMG October 2025 Collection Blends Motorsport Aesthetics

adidas Consortium x Mercedes-AMG is back with a bold three-shoe collection.

Featuring the ZX 8500, Megaride GT, and adiStar Control 5, the collection mashes automotive and sneaker design while drawing inspiration from Mercedes’ racing dominance in the ’90s and remixing that into a modern context.

The ZX 8500 is a throwback silhouette that is making its second comeback after its first release through OVERKILL in 2021. A hybrid between the ZX 8000 and ZX 9000, this sneaker also has limited-release appeal for collectors. Leading the pack is a black-and-red colorway that mimics team racing liveries, while a muted all-grey color scheme is laid-back for everyday wear.

The Megaride GT, on the other hand, has more futurism in its design language. The Y2K-inspired upper features chrome trim and pops with red and black details. The outsole has six pods, split into six segments and sitting atop each other to showcase the adidas propulsion technology. This feature can also be seen on adidas’ Predator line recently.

Lastly, the adiStar Control 5 is hanging on to its reliable cushioning system, but it ditches its roots in runners for layered mesh uppers and undulating lines to freshen up the silhouette’s appearance.

The New Balance 990v6 “Driftwood” Offers A Refined, Earthy Update

The New Balance 990v6 “Driftwood” isn’t flashy but that’s the point. This is an earthy update to the legendary Made in USA series.

The model is a made for fall weather thanks to swapping the v5’s suede mudguard and eyestay for premium nubuck. The leather underlays are in a custom olive-khaki while off-white mesh and the reflective “N” logo provide a pop of contrast.

While the previous pairs from the series played it safe with white and grey midsoles, this is one for all the natural tones.
