Nike KD 19 “Butter Candy” Releases Fall 2026

Kevin Durant’s nineteenth signature shoe is moving into its next phase, and the Nike KD 19 “Butter Candy” gives the model its most restrained look so far.

The upcoming pair is dressed almost entirely in a warm golden-yellow shade, covering the molded shell, laces, tongue, lining and sole. That one-color approach puts more attention on the KD 19’s shape, especially the sweeping side panels and exaggerated heel platform. Small Swooshes are molded into the upper, while Durant’s logo appears on the tongue and insoles.

Glossy synthetic sections wrap around much of the shoe, leaving mesh exposed through the tongue and lace opening for breathability. Nike also worked the color through the traction pattern, where KD branding and “Nineteen” details appear underfoot. Even with the wheat-like palette, this is still a futuristic basketball shoe rather than a lifestyle makeover.

“Butter Candy” joins a growing list of KD 19 colorways already introduced through Nike’s campaign with Durant and Drake. Earlier pairs include “Purple Stuff,” “Candy Apple” and “Orange Crush,” with “Bubble Gum Bounce” also part of the rollout. The ads have Drake supplying the jokes while Durant sticks to the quiet, straight-faced role that fits their back-and-forth.

The Nike KD 19 “Butter Candy” is expected to release during Fall/Winter 2026 in men’s sizing. The pair will be available through Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers for $155.
