Ahead of the Nike KD 6 “Meteorology” returning in 2026, official images have emerged. This upcoming retro revives the familiar weather-themed color scheme from 2013, showcasing Black and Medium Olive alongside pops of Atomic Red and Noble Red.

Drawing inspiration from Durant’ early passion for weather forecasting, Nike created one of the strongest concepts within the KD line. Checkered markings adorn the olive panels around the tongue, collar, and medial while splashes of bright red penetrate the predominantly black upper.

The lateral side features a huge patterned Swoosh, linked by red KD graphics close to the heel. The black laces and the matching midsole prevent the brighter colors from dominating, and the printed lining further enhances the weather-map motif.

Nike has also kept the performance formula that helped the KD 6 stand out from the crowd when it first released. The Flywire support system is implemented through the lacing, while the low-profile sole features a forefoot Zoom Air unit along with sock-friendly cushioning on the heel.
