Berlin-based Overkill is next in line to team up with adidas Consortium to release their own take of the Speedfactory AM4 silhouette.

Limited to 300 pairs, this AM4 comes equipped with a NFC chip that can be scanned with a smartphone to reveal a video of the shoe being laser etched with its own unique number.

Dressed in a Footwear White, Supplier Color, and Solar Yellow color scheme. The shoe features a textile knit upper with speedfactory patch reinforcement for stability. A full-length Boost midsole completes the design.

A Look at the Entire adidas x Dragon Ball Z Collection

adidas Originals has officially announced their collaborative project with Toei Animation and its iconic international anime series, Dragon Ball Z. Since 1989, Dragon Ball Z has transcended the world of anime and manga, reaching global icon status within contemporary pop-culture.

The collaboration sees three of the most iconic battles between heroes and villains throughout the anime re-imagined in sneaker form. Following the Dragon Ball Z chronology, the collaboration features seven silhouettes from the adidas Originals roster, carefully chosen to represent the characteristics of the heroes and villains to which they refer.

Kicking off with the legendary battle between two of Dragon Ball Z’s most recognizable faces, Son Goku and Frieza, the collaborative project begins with the ZX 500 RM and Yung-1 respectively.

Following this, the project moves to Son Gohan and Cell who are depicted in sneaker form as Deerupt and Prophere. Representing the final battle in the project, the Ultra Tech and Kamanda silhouettes are made-up in the image of Vegeta and Majin Buu. With the culmination of all 7 Dragon balls, the collaboration will be finished with the appearance of Shenron the Dragon, which is re-imagined as the EQT Support Mid ADV PK.

Each release will include two silhouettes (one hero and one villain), dropping monthly from September to December. The shoes will be presented in special collaborative packaging featuring an individual Dragon Ball detail, each box coming together to create a singular back cover design – a homage to the tapestry-like images found on the spines of the original Dragon Ball magazines.

Nike expands on their women’s Air Force 1 lineup with a new duo of “Jester XX” silhouettes to kick off the month of October.

Playing off the original Air Force 1 Low “Jester” these high top renditions come in the same construction with an asymmetrical deconstructed aesthetic.

One pair comes dressed in Violet Ash/Blue Force-Night Maroon-Metallic Tawny-Summit White and the other in Black/Blustery-Dusty Peach-Metallic Vivid Gold-Summit White. Various Nike branding throughout finishes them off with a signature touch.

Sean Wotherspoon’s Nike Air Max 1/97 was one of the biggest releases of 2018, which dropped on Air Max Day. The special release was originally part of a Nike design contest that he ended up winning. Heavily inspired by Sean’s love for vintage Nike hats from the 1980s, it’s now time to turn the page and give us the “Second Wave.”

In a few Instagram posts, Sean confirms that he is currently working on the next installment to his Nike Air Max 1/97 series. From the sample photos, it looks like the shoe will come in a Blue palette, although that could change on the final version.

Back in 2001, Jordan Brand debuted the first Air Jordan 11 Low to feature a non-patent leather mudguard as they replaced it with snakeskin. For 2019, the Air Jordan 11 Low Snakeskin will be making a return.

Two colorways are scheduled to release, one in “Blue Snakeskin” – which could be the OG “Navy” pair that released back in May 2001 (photo above), alongside a “Grey Snakeskin” iteration. No leaked photos have surfaced, but each release will feature a White leather upper with snakeskin on the mudguard.

UNDERCOVER Nike Tailwind Release Date

Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER label will be teaming up with Nike for an upcoming collaboration on the Tailwind runner that originally debuted in the late 70s. Previewed during Paris Fashion Week, there are a trio of colorways set to release.

Those color options includes Green/Red, Red/Black, and Blue/Yellow. Each Nike Tailwind comes with a modernized redesign featuring Grey suede mudguards, Black suede heels, with speckled detailing on the midsole and heel cages that displays UNDERCOVER branding.

adidas Originals presents its soccer-inspired Sobakov silhouette in a new colorway this week, translating the shoe’s early-‘90s archive influences into a clean, fashion-focused context.

In keeping with previous releases, the latest outing of the Sobakov silhouette boasts a lightweight knit upper decorated with stitched dered textures and a minimalist lacing system. The shoe’s unorthodox wraparound Three Stripe mark is heavily inspired by the Predator precision stripes and add contrast, placed atop the shoe’s distinctive chevron outsole.

For its latest release, the Sobakov model has been rendered in a Black colorway from top to bottom, contrasted with Chalk Coral Three Stripe mark. Finishing touches include Trefoil logo branding on the heel and tongue, creating a clean, contemporary expression of timeless adidas soccer aesthetic.
