After the success of his Air Jordan 4 “Brick By Brick”, Nigel is back with a follow-up project that leans even harder into the message behind his work: building, then continuing the grind.

To introduce the collection, Nigel tapped Young Jeezy for a campaign that feels authentic from every angle. The shoot took place at the clay-red Brooklyn Banks and was captured by Harrison Boyce, adding even more depth to a project already tied closely to BMX culture, hustle, and legacy. Jeezy’s involvement makes sense here, especially since the campaign centers on staying driven after the foundation is already built.

The apparel lineup keeps that same energy throughout. Pieces include a crewneck, windbreaker, graphic tees, and a mesh jersey with BMX-inspired numbering, all designed to match the tone of the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick.” The footwear remains the centerpiece, but the clothing helps round out the full vision behind the release.

Off-Noir lands on the laces, tongue, and inner lining, giving the shoe a darker edge and helping the pink shades hit harder.

Instead of taking their statement with color, this release lets texture do the talking. Gliding across the toe, eyestays, quarters and heel are hairy cow-print panels while black tumbled leather on the toe box and center panel helps ground the design. Both versions pull from the same black, red, and green palette, a direction that lines up with Crenshaw Skate Club’s continued nods to the African diaspora. The black pair carries that message with more punch, pairing a dark leather upper with red stitching, plaid-style laces, bold Half Cab tags, and packaging that mirrors the shoe’s energy. The teaser arrived without context, but the message felt intentional.

The visual language stood out immediately. Pink wrapping paper, lemon graphics, and Ja’s logo scattered throughout suggest a possible “Pink Lemonade” theme. That flavor-driven approach mirrors how Nike has recently leaned into playful storytelling for select signature shoes, especially within Morant’s lineup. It feels less like a gimmick and more like brand alignment done carefully.

This isn’t unfamiliar territory for the Ja line. Earlier Kool-Aid collaborations generated strong response across adult and kids sizing, reinforcing the appeal beyond core hoopers. That success likely helped renew the partnership. That said, the Nike Ja 3 is already a centerpiece model in Morant’s future sneaker plans.
