Concepts Releasing Another New Balance 998 Collab

Published on

Concepts and New Balance are joining forces once again to bring you a remarkable partnership centered around the iconic 998 model. Following the success of their New Balance 997 release in 2019, which drew inspiration from the renowned Curse of the Bambino and the historic Boston Red Sox-New York Yankees rivalry, this upcoming Concepts x New Balance 998 collaboration promises another extraordinary creation. While the specific inspiration behind the 998 collab remains undisclosed, the choice of colors bears a striking resemblance to their previous venture.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the shoe showcases a breathable White perforation leather base, complemented by Magenta-shaded pig suede on the midfoot, mudguard, tongue, and heel overlays. Additionally, Gold embellishments on the TPU eyelet and heel counter add a touch of elegance, while Pink shading adorns the “N” side logos and overlays on the White ABZORB midsole near the toe. Reflective accents on the toe and heel further enhance the visual appeal. The branded tongues feature mismatched embroidery, with Concept branding displayed on the insoles. The design is completed by a Black rubber outsole, ensuring both style and durability. As a special treat, the shoe comes with an extra set of laces and is housed in unique packaging.
