The Whitaker Group and adidas are bringing football style into everyday wear with the new BW Mundial, a low-profile model timed around the closing stretch of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Rather than pulling an older shoe from the archive, the project combines recognizable elements from two different adidas designs.

The upper takes cues from the Mundial Team turf shoe and the German Army Trainer, commonly known as the BW Army. That mix gives the sneaker a slim, casual shape while keeping the connection to classic football footwear easy to see.

Three colorways are included in the collection: Black, Cream, and Blue. Leather and suede overlays sit over textile side panels, adding texture without making the design feel too busy. Fold-over tongues provide the clearest football reference, joined by gold adidas branding, metallic lace details, stitched accents, and rubber outsoles modeled after turf shoes.

Details tied to The Whitaker Group’s Do Not Duplicate series also return. Morse code-inspired notches appear around the heel, while the tongue labels are left blank for a more stripped-back finish.

EQL draws for The Whitaker Group x adidas BW Mundial are open through A Ma Maniére, Social Status, and JAIDE until July 15, 2026, at 3 PM ET. Remaining pairs will release July 16 at 12 PM ET online and at participating store locations. Retail pricing has not been announced.
