Brain Dead and adidas are bringing back the Barricade V in two colorways for 2026. The tennis shoe originally released in 2008 and later returned in 2013. This latest version keeps much of the original design, with a few changes to the materials and finishes.

Brain Dead and adidas have worked on tennis shoes before, including the Barricade 13 and Stan Smith Unstructured. Their past releases also include climbing shoes and a bowling collection.

Both Barricade V colorways feature mesh uppers, synthetic overlays, and metallic silver detailing. Dark Green covers one pair, while the second comes in Mystery Ink. The translucent-looking panels and glossy finishes are reminiscent of electronics from the late 1990s and early 2000s, fitting the shoe’s original design era.

The Brain Dead x adidas Barricade V has already appeared at overseas retailers, with a U.S. release expected during Holiday 2026. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
