Sneaker Talk: Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One

The Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One debuted in April of 2014 and included two Nike Air Foamposite One colorways, one in Red and the other in Black – both have a price tag of $250 USD.

Nike Sportswear first debuted the Nike Air Foamposite One back in 1997, the silhouette became known for its technical features and unorthodox appearance. When Supreme hooked up with Nike, they went back to their roots and gave the Foamposite silhouette a more street fashion makeover using a Versace-like graphic covering each upper.

For those that can remember, the hype for this release was insane causing the NYPD to shut down the in-store release in New York.

How many of you were able to scoop up either or both pairs? Since its been over two years now, should Nike consider doing more collaborative releases like this using the cultural icon Nike Foamposite silhouette?
