Anyone remember those satin Jordan 5s from the 2018 holidays? They were called the “Satin Bred” colorway, and the crazy thing is the design was actually ripped from this random, unreleased prototype sample Nike had sitting around in 1990.
They didn’t change the actual build of the shoe much. The side netting is still there, the tongue still has that bright reflective 3M material, and the bottoms are still that clear icy rubber. The big difference is just the upper being entirely black satin instead of leather. Then they threw University Red on the Jumpman and the midsole teeth to get that classic Chicago look.
Since they came out a while ago, you’re pretty much stuck looking on the aftermarket. Your best bet to find a pair now is checking sizes on platforms like StockX.
