UPDATE 8/13/26: Size? has now given its New Balance 204L collaboration a full reveal after first previewing the project earlier this month. The pair is set to release on August 21.

Size? has a New Balance 204L collaboration coming later this month, giving the low-profile runner a much more textured look than the pairs we’ve seen so far. The UK retailer is using plaid fabric, shaggy brown suede, and layered laces across the upper, with a release set for August 21, 2026.
Olive green and off-white checks show up on the toe box and side underlays, while different shades of brown suede cover much of the rest of the shoe. Two sets of laces are worn together over the tongue, adding another detail without taking away from the 204L’s slim shape.
The model already pulls from retro running shoes and early-2000s design, so the mix of plaid and suede fits naturally here. It also gives the Size? version more of a vintage, outdoors-inspired feel compared to the cleaner inline colorways.
The Size? x New Balance 204L releases August 21, 2026. Pricing and sizing have yet to be announced.
