Marimekko x adidas Court Revival Releases April 8th

Marimekko is a design house celebrated worldwide for its original prints and colors. Founded by Viljo and Armi Ratia in Helsinki in 1951, the Finnish lifestyle design company has teamed up with adidas to release a collaborative take on the Court Revival silhouette.

Made with a series of recycled materials, this upper features at least 50% recycled content. This offering of the Marimekko x adidas Court Revival comes decorated with a ’60s-inspired Marimekko print with a perfect balance of retro and modern influences. It features a smooth leather upper lined for comfort, while sitting atop a Cloudfoam rubber sole. Co-branded tongue pull tabs and insoles housed in special packaging completes the design.

CLOT x Nike Cortez “Forrest Gump” Releases April 14th

Following the first two “Black/White” and “Black/Yellow” colorways, Edison Chen has revealed his third and final CLOT x Nike Cortez (CLOTEZ) arriving in the classic “OG” aka “Forrest Gump” colorway.

Originally designed for the track by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, the Cortez first debuted in 1972 in this “OG” colorway, which would later regained popularity when they were worn on screen by Tom Hanks in the film, Forrest Gump.

This offering of the CLOT x Nike Cortez (CLOTEZ) arrives in a White, Game Royal, and University Red colors scheme nodding to the “OG” release. The 3-in-1 design can be worn as is or taken apart to become a sneaker and a slip-on reminiscent of a Kung Fu shoe. It comes equipped with a drawstring fastening system featuring a Yin Yang symbol and Chinese characters “功” and “夫” (Kung Fu）embroidered at the heel. The shoe, meant as an indoor house shoe, features a White leather upper with Red Swooshes, while the slip-on sports Blue Swooshes with serrated bottoms for maximum grip. Each “Clotez” comes with detachable insoles for extra comfort.

The Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low Goes All-Black

Nike’s outdoor-ready ACG line is expanding their ACG Mountain Fly lineup with its sequel, the Mountain Fly 2 Low. While the shoe has yet to officially launch, we’ve already seen a few upcoming color options. Today, we take a look at yet another arriving in an all-Black makeup. The shoe itself will be available in both men’s and women’s sizing.

Dressed in a Black and Anthracite color scheme. This offering of the Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low comes constructed with durable materials detailed with a heavy use of “ACG” branding. It also come equipped with its usual React foam cushioning in the midsole with its signature large lugs on the outsole that extends onto the side and toe for increased traction and a rugged look.

While the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 9060 debuted in May 2022, the launch colorway of the 9060 officially launched in July 2022. Since then, the shoe has become one the the more popular models from the Boston-based brand. Adding to its lineup, we now take a look a this upcoming “Cream/Black” colorway that should be arriving in time for the summer months.

Unlike the previous pairs we’ve been seeing, this offering of the New Balance 9060 ditches the suede material for leather on the overlays, while having a breathable mesh base. Its entire upper sports a Creamy hue with Black detailing on the branded areas, trimming, and inner lining. Other details includes “N” logos on the lateral with embroidery on the medial. Signature New Balance branding placements with a dual-density midsole featuring ABZORB and SBS cushioning atop a diamond outsole pattern inspired by classic 860 completes the design.

JJJJound Reebok Club C Olive Release Date

JJJJound is a design studio based in Montreal. Back in 2006, it was an image blog, before growing into a collaborative design studio. In the sneaker community JJJJound is known for their collaborations with various of brands. For 2023, the Montreal brand will be teaming back up with Reebok to release its latest rendition of the Club C.

This offering of the JJJJound x Reebok Club C features a White premium leather covering its entire upper with Olive Green terry cloth inner lining. Other details includes mesh tongues, JJJJound lateral branding atop a clean White midsole and Black rubber outsole. Co-branded insoles and special packaging completes the design.

As a nod to the 2009 “DMP” Pack celebrating when Michael Jordan scored 63 points in the playoffs against the Boston Celtics, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lucky Green” (Celtics) for Spring 2023.

Dressed in a Black, Lucky Green, and White color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 1 features a White leather base with Black and Green overlays. Unlike the 2009 pair, this release will include “Nike Air” on the tongues. A White midsole atop a Green rubber outsole completes the design.

Gucci x adidas 2023 Collection Now Available

adidas and Gucci are teaming up once again to release a new collection for 2023, expanding on the sartorial streetwear creations with a spectrum of sport-inspired pieces in which the heritage of both brands is encoded in a trio of lines. Adding to the footwear lineup is the ZX 8000.

Four total colorways of the adidas ZX 8000 have been revealed, with each coming constructed in a mix of materials with the House’s GG monogram-pattern. Having a similar design as last year, the adidas Gazelle, a silhouette that has become iconic thanks to its essential and versatile form, is presented in different GG monogram variations. A trio of sandals will also be included.

Nike Air Max 90 With ACG Vibes

It was the late 80s when Nike debuted their ACG line, which stands for All Conditions Gear, with a motto of, “Designed, tested, and made on Planet Earth.” Reminiscent of their beloved ACG sub-label is this new colorway of the Air Max 90 for the summer months.

This offering of the Nike Air Max 90 arrives in neutral color tones featuring a White mesh base and tongues with Off White suede overlays and smooth leather mudguards. Other details includes Purple contrasting accents on the suede Swooshes, tongue and heel branding, inner lining and insoles as well as the Air Max cassette unit. A Gum/Tan hue is then used on the eyelets, heels, and rubber outsole to complete the design. The shoe will be available in men’s sizing.

From the lows to the highs, Nike Sportswear brought back the Dunk Mid to kick off the Spring 2023 season. With a few colorways already available, and much more to come, the Swoosh is already looking ahead to the fall season with this new “Amber Brown” colorway.

Dressed in an Amber Brown, Phantom, Dark Russet, and Black, color scheme. In Boston, Massachusetts, an English immigrant named William J. Riley founded New Balance back in 1906. Named after the year the brand was founded, the 1906R is inspired by running shoe designs from the 2000s. Known more as a lifestyle silhouette, the 1906R combines both a timeless look with modern tech upgrades. Expanding its lineup for the Spring/Summer months, we now take a look at this new “Eclipse” colorway.

Dressed in a mix of Black, Silver, and Eclipse color tones. This offering of the New Balance 1906 comes constructed with an open mesh base, leather overlays and classic “N” logos on the sides. Its signature N-Lock system stabilizes the laterals while a TPU heel counter adds support. A solid Black rubber sole completes the design.

The Air Max TW 1 is Nike Sportswear’s latest model that takes inspiration from the Air Max Tailwind and Air Max Plus silhouettes. Coming into the spring season, the Swoosh plans to expand its lineup with new color options. One of those includes this new “White/Red” makeup.

This offering of the Nike Air Max TW comes constructed in a mix of mesh and leather materials. It features a White base with Red contrasting accents and branding throughout detailed with wavy lines on the each side, along with “TW” branding on the tongues and Nike’s pinwheel stamped onto the insoles. Dual Air bubbles in the rear of the White midsole atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design. The shoe will be available exclusively in men’s sizing.

Austin Reaves Is Getting His Own Signature Shoe

After going undrafted in the 2021 NBA draft, Austin Reaves signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers back in August before officially signing a standard NBA contrast in September. He has now become a solidified starter alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis averaging 18.5 points over his last 10 games. If things couldn’t get any better for Hillbilly Kobe, a nickname he received as Kobe Bryant was his favorite player growing up, he is now getting his own signature shoe.

According to Nick DePaula on Twitter, Austin Reaves will be releasing his own shoe with Chinese sports equipment brand Rigorer, who he became the first NBA endorser for the brand last year. Dubbed, the Rigorer AR1, the rendering image arrives in a Lakers colorway featuring Black base with Yellow and Purple contrasting accents along with the brand’s logo on the lateral and Austin’s on the heels. A solid White rubber sole completes the design.

Look for the Rigorer AR1 to release in a range of colorways to begin releasing during Summer 2023 and into next season.
