After going undrafted in the 2021 NBA draft, Austin Reaves signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers back in August before officially signing a standard NBA contrast in September. He has now become a solidified starter alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis averaging 18.5 points over his last 10 games. If things couldn’t get any better for Hillbilly Kobe, a nickname he received as Kobe Bryant was his favorite player growing up, he is now getting his own signature shoe.

According to Nick DePaula on Twitter, Austin Reaves will be releasing his own shoe with Chinese sports equipment brand Rigorer, who he became the first NBA endorser for the brand last year. Dubbed, the Rigorer AR1, the rendering image arrives in a Lakers colorway featuring Black base with Yellow and Purple contrasting accents along with the brand’s logo on the lateral and Austin’s on the heels. A solid White rubber sole completes the design.

Look for the Rigorer AR1 to release in a range of colorways to begin releasing during Summer 2023 and into next season.
