Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies” Releases August 25th

Published on

During the early 2000s, Nike released the Air Force 1 “West Indies” celebrating the West Indian Day Parade Carnival held annually on the first Monday of September in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

There were four different colorways released celebrating the culture of West Indies from 2002 to 2005. In 2022, Nike Sportswear brought back the OG 2002 colorway in celebration of its 20th Anniversary and 40th Anniversary of the Air Force 1.

Unlike the original, this offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Low comes detailed with University Gold contrasting accents. It features a White leather base with mesh tongues and lining highlighted with West Indies branding on the tongue tags, lace dubraes, and embroidered lateral heel in the Caribbean colors. Finishing off the design are graphic insoles listing all the small islands of the Caribbean.

Check out the official photos below, and look for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies” to release on August 25th at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $140 USD.
