Active Athlete x adidas Superstar “Lone Star Reppin” Celebrates Texas Culture

adidas has teamed up once again with Houston-based retailer Active Athlete to introduce the Lone Star Reppin’ Superstar, a collaboration that celebrates Texas culture, heritage, and community pride. Building on the momentum of their previous partnership, this new release arrives during Houston’s famous Rodeo Season, a time when the state’s western traditions take center stage.

The design draws inspiration from the identity of the Lone Star State and the modern cowboy spirit. While Active Athlete’s roots are firmly planted in Houston, the project reflects the broader culture of Texas and the South. It pays tribute to individuals who embody resilience, ambition, and a willingness to carve their own path.

Active Athlete founder Paul Seernani plays an important role in the story behind the collaboration. Since opening the store in 1988, he has grown it into one of Houston’s most respected streetwear destinations. adidas supported the retailer from its early days, and today the store continues to thrive under the next generation of leadership while maintaining its strong community connection.

The Lone Star Reppin’ Superstar features several custom elements that highlight its western inspiration. These include a belt-buckle style dubrae, turquoise accents, and cowboy boot-style stitching incorporated into the signature Three Stripes. Additional details such as a cowhide-print insole, metal Cowboy/Cowgirl boot hangtag, and raised “Lone Star Reppin’” lettering on the heel help complete the theme. The sneaker also includes four interchangeable lace options.

To celebrate the launch, Active Athlete will host several in-store events across its Cullen, Federal, and Wilcrest locations. The flagship Cullen Boulevard store will also transform into a Lone Star Saloon pop-up experience on March 7th from 2PM to 5PM. Additional appearances tied to Houston Rodeo festivities are also planned.

The Active Athlete x adidas Superstar “Lone Star Reppin'” releases March 7th in limited quantities for $110 USD, available exclusively at select Active Athlete locations and online.

The Jordan Spizike Low “Black Denim” Looks Better Than It Should

Jordan’s hybrid line keeps finding new ways to feel familiar. This time, it leans into texture. The Jordan Spizike Low “Black Denim” trades smooth leather panels for rugged fabric, giving the model a different kind of presence without changing its foundation.

Black denim wraps most of the upper, and it’s stitched in bright white so every panel stands out. The material feels sturdy and slightly raw, especially around the mudguard and heel. Mesh windows break up the build at the midfoot, while matte black wings and eyelets pull straight from the Jordan 4 playbook.

Sail hits on the tongue soften the look and frame a bold University Red Jumpman. That same red shows up inside, keeping the palette tight. On the heel, circular badges reference Brooklyn and 40 Acres, small details that longtime fans will catch right away.

Underneath, a Sail midsole carries visible Air in the heel for everyday comfort. A Gum Medium Brown outsole finishes it off with classic traction and a subtle vintage vibe. The material swap suggests the silhouette is carving out more space beyond the court.

The Jordan Spizike Low “Black Denim” releases Spring 2026 via Nike.com and select retailers for $160.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Canvas” Comes With Gum Brown Soles

Some sneakers don’t need a loud rollout to make sense. This one leans into that mindset. It carries the familiar all-black look people gravitate toward, but there’s a subtle shift once you get closer. The usual smooth leather is gone, replaced with black canvas that feels softer and more broken-in right away. That texture alone gives the shoe a more relaxed attitude.

The canvas build changes the mood more than you expect. It tones down the shine and makes the shoe feel more casual. Dark Smoke Grey hits land on the Swoosh, heel tab, and tongue branding. The contrast is subtle, not loud. You still get the classic perforated toe box and tonal laces. A small metallic “AF1” dubrae adds a quick flash near the bottom of the laces.

A white midsole breaks up the dark upper and keeps the design balanced. Underneath, the Gum Medium Brown outsole brings warmth and that familiar circular traction pattern. It is a timeless combo that always works on this model.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Canvas” releases Summer 2026 for $125. You can grab pairs through Nike.com and select retailers.

Nike Vapormax Plus “Black/Bright Crimson” Returns March 20th

Nike’s early-2000s Air Max DNA continues to influence some of their recent designs, and this flaming gradient pair is about to make its comeback. The Nike Vapormax Plus “Black/Bright Crimson” will launch on March 20th and resurrect a loud colorway from way back in 2022.

Nike Bright Crimson takes over the mesh upper, illuminating across the forefoot before fading darker toward the collar. That fade transitions into anthracite and black around the ankle, creating a more layered effect instead of solid colorblocking. Once the shiny black cage swoops over the upper, the contrast really pops. Structurally, the wavy silhouette still resembles the palm-tree-inspired aesthetic of the original Air Max Plus.

Other details keep the silhouette tied to its Tuned Air roots. Matte black covers the heel panel, where the familiar Vm Air badge sits centered. A small crimson Swoosh lands along the lateral side, subtle but easy to spot against the darker background.

Underfoot, the traditional Tuned Air system gives way to full-length Vapormax cushioning. Clear segmented air pods stretch across the outsole, adding lightweight comfort while reinforcing the shoe’s modern edge.

The Nike Vapormax Plus “Black/Bright Crimson” returns March 20th, 2026 for $220, releasing through Nike.com and select retailers.

Nike ACG Rufus Arrives in Traditional Japanese “Asanoha” Pattern

Nike’s ACG line continues to explore footwear that feels easy to wear but still carries outdoor DNA. Not every trail-inspired design needs laces or heavy structure. That thinking shows up clearly with the Nike ACG Rufus “Asanoha,” a mule that blends relaxed comfort with a look rooted in traditional design.

The upper commands attention. Covering the slip-on construction is a woven textile embossed with the Asanoha design. A Japanese hemp-leaf print consisting of interconnected, star-like geometric shapes. Swatches of brown, tan, and black run throughout creating a stratified tapestry look. Tucked along the lateral side is a small black Swoosh allowing the design to take center stage.

Below that patterned upper sits a speckled cream midsole that keeps the look balanced. Sculpted sidewall pods add shape while maintaining the mule’s relaxed structure. Inside, a cork footbed introduces a natural texture and gradually molds to the wearer’s foot. An ACG badge on the insole quietly ties the design back to the brand’s outdoor roots.

Underfoot, the color story shifts. A Bright Violet traction plate runs through the center of the outsole and is surrounded by rugged tread designed for grip. A small purple Swoosh near the forefoot echoes that same accent.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Doubles Down in “Off White” and “Summit White”

Year after year the AF-1 remains a staple in sneaker collections across the board. Every once in awhile though they release a variation that tweaks the formula just enough. As warmer weather approaches we start to see a lighter version of the classic basketball silhouette. The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Off White/Summit White” embraces this transition by replacing the leather construction with a mesh-based build.

Airflow becomes the main story across the upper. Open Off-White mesh lands on the toe box, quarter panels, and tongue, giving the shoe a lighter feel while adding texture to the otherwise simple palette. Around those sections, Summit White suede overlays frame the mudguard, eyestays, Swoosh, and heel. The soft grey tint keeps the design clean while adding just enough contrast.

Familiar Air Force 1 elements remain intact. Slim Summit White laces feed through the eyelets and connect with the classic oval silver AF1 lace dubrae near the forefoot. Subtle branding appears on the tongue and heel, while the traditional midsole keeps the stamped “AIR” text above the circular traction outsole.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Off White/Summit White” releases April 1, 2026 for $125 through Nike.com and select retailers.

Air Jordan 1 Mid GS “Pink Bloom” Brings Spring Flower Energy

Jordan Brand knows that as seasons change and colors lighten, we all look to refresh ourselves. To facilitate that desire to reset, the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS “Pink Bloom” will arrive for Spring 2026. This sneaker features muted hues and material play on one of the Jordan Brand’s most dependable silhouettes.

Featuring a Vast Grey/Sail-Pink Bloom-Pink Glow colorway, the sneaker exudes comfortable vibes. Sail leather sets the base, while Vast Grey overlays arrive embossed with subtle floral patterns. That texture runs along the toe, collar, and heel, adding depth without changing the familiar AJ1 shape. Pink Bloom lands on the Swoosh and Wings logo, giving the upper a clean pop.

There’s more going on at the laces. Pink Glow satin-style laces switch up the standard look, and a removable flower patch sits front and center. The white petals and orange middle bring a playful touch, clearly aimed at younger wearers. A teal Jumpman on the tongue and floral sockliners quietly tie everything together.

A Sail midsole and Pink Glow outsole finish things off, keeping the classic Air Jordan 1 traction intact.

Air Jordan 12 “Egg Nog” Releases October 2026

Jordan Brand is leaning into holiday storytelling for 2026, and the Air Jordan 12 “Egg Nog” fits that direction in a refreshing way. Instead of relying on the usual red and green palette, the release draws from the warm, cozy feeling tied to the season’s traditions, giving the shoe a festive identity that feels more atmospheric than literal.

Rather than going bold with color, the design takes a softer approach that mirrors the look of the drink itself. The Sail upper gives the shoe a creamy, smooth base, while the brown accents on the eyelets and hardware nod to the warm spice notes you’d expect from eggnog. It feels subtle, seasonal, and thoughtfully tied to the theme without trying too hard.

Based on newly surfaced mockups, the Air Jordan 12 “Egg Nog” is expected to arrive in a Light Orewood Brown, Cacao Wow, and Team Red color palette. The updated rendering shows the Light Orewood Brown tone covering most of the upper, delivering that creamy, milk-like aesthetic that aligns with the eggnog inspiration. Cacao Wow accents appear along the metal eyelets and midfoot panel, while the signature ribbed mudguard introduces subtle speckled detailing that resembles cinnamon or nutmeg sprinkled across the drink. A soft off-white midsole keeps the palette balanced, while Team Red branding on the tongue and outsole adds a deeper holiday-inspired contrast.

The central DNA of the Air Jordan 12 remains intact. The iconic ribbed mudguard, premium materials, and large Jumpman logo all remain firmly in place, anchoring it to its roots. Seeing how those signature elements mix with the softer seasonal flavor is what gives the entire shoe intentionality.

This release also sits comfortably next to other holiday-inspired projects, like the rumored “Santa” Air Jordan 3 expected for Holiday 2026.

Ja Morant’s Nike Ja 4: Release Info, Colorways, and What to Expect

Ja Morant’s next signature sneaker is already on the horizon. The Nike Ja 4 will continue the Memphis guard’s growing partnership with Nike Basketball, arriving as the fourth installment in his evolving signature line. After the strong reception of the Ja 3, the next model looks set to expand the series with new performance upgrades and a broader range of styles.

While official tech details have yet to be fully confirmed, early information suggests several meaningful updates. The Nike Ja 4 is rumored to feature a Cushlon 3.0 midsole paired with a ZoomX sockliner, a combination designed to improve responsiveness and energy return. Nike is also expected to introduce a functional stability system described as a “Ja frame,” along with an upper engineered to adjust with movement for better lockdown and support during fast cuts.

Colorways will also play a major role in the rollout. Alongside standard inline pairs, multiple themed editions are already rumored. A collaboration with SLAM Magazine is expected to arrive in a Wolf Grey and Safety Orange palette, while the JAWS film franchise will reportedly inspire another version featuring Multi-Color and Light Lemon Twist accents. Additional pairs tied to New York City, Halloween, and Christmas are also rumored to be part of the expanding lineup.

Nike Ja 4 Release Info

The Nike Ja 4 is expected to debut in Fall 2026. For the first time in the series, Nike plans to introduce two versions of the model. The initial release will feature the traditional low-top Ja 4, followed later by a high-top version scheduled for Holiday 2026.

Pricing will differ between the two styles. The low-top Nike Ja 4 is expected to retail between $130 and $140, while the high-top version will carry a $180 price point.

FAMU Gets Their Own Nike GT Future PE

The Florida A&M University Rattlers have been gifted their own exclusive take on the Nike GT Future, one of the brand’s most talked-about performance models this year. After early general-release colorways generated buzz and strong resale demand, the silhouette is now expanding into the player-exclusive space.

As part of Nike’s ongoing support for its sponsored collegiate programs, FAMU athletes are now lacing up a custom GT Future PE built strictly for the school. The design keeps things clean and bold. A glossy green Foamposite-inspired shell dominates the upper, while black accents sharpen the edges and balance the look. The one-piece molded construction gives the shoe its futuristic identity, but the details are where school pride shows up.

On the tongue, branding alternates between a vertical Swoosh on one shoe and the Rattlers logo on the other, reinforcing that this pair was made with Tallahassee in mind. It’s subtle, but unmistakably FAMU.

Like most Nike player exclusives issued to HBCUs and Division I programs, this GT Future PE will not see a public release. The pair remains reserved for Florida A&M athletes only, further adding to the growing mystique around the GT Future line.

As Nike continues to build momentum around the model, expect more school-specific editions to surface throughout the college basketball season.

Nike A’Two “Pink Beam” Releases May 2nd

A’Ja Wilson is stepping into the next chapter of her Nike signature line with a clear performance upgrade and a sharper design identity. The Nike A’Two officially launches this May, building on the foundation laid by her debut model while introducing meaningful tech enhancements for the court.

Most notably, the A’Two adds a forefoot Air Zoom unit, delivering extra bounce and responsiveness during explosive movements. Cushlon 3.0 foam returns underfoot, but this time it’s paired with a supportive shank to help improve energy transfer and reduce unwanted twisting. As a result, players can expect better stability during hard cuts and quick transitions.

Up top, the molded synthetic leather upper continues the sculpted texture first seen on the A’One. However, the detailing feels more refined. Horizontal ripple patterns shape the lateral side, while diagonal lines define the medial panel. Strategic cutouts expose mesh windows beneath, increasing breathability without sacrificing lockdown. The reinforced heel counter further enhances support, giving the shoe a secure, game-ready feel.

For its debut, pink once again leads the story. The “Pink Beam” colorway features iridescent branding hits and subtle design cues inspired by the pearl necklace Wilson’s grandmother gifted her as a child. A faint star motif across the tongue and vamp ties back to her signature logo, adding a personal layer to the performance-driven build.

Fragment x Nike Book 2 Releases March 10th

UPDATE 3/3/26: The Fragment x Nike Book 2 is set to release March 10th, 2026 on SNKRS for $150 USD.

UPDATE 2/10/26: The Fragment Design x Nike Book 2 raffle rollout is now underway, with HBX opening its drawing tonight at 10 PM. An in-person launch is also expected in Los Angeles during All-Star Weekend.

UPDATE 1/30/26: Official photos of the Fragment Design x Nike Book 2 have surfaced. A release date is expected February 12th, 2026.

Original Story 1/28/26:
Momentum around Fragment has been moving fast, and basketball is now part of that conversation. While the Fragment x Union Jordan 1 rollout is still building, Hiroshi Fujiwara has already turned attention toward Nike Basketball. The early look at the Fragment x Nike Book 2 shows a clean shift into performance design with a sharp, controlled aesthetic.

At the center of this release is a stripped-back approach that feels intentional. The Fragment x Nike Book 2 is expected to arrive in February 2026, making it one of the most accessible Fragment projects in recent memory. For collectors, it represents a rare crossover between street culture and signature basketball footwear.

What stands out immediately is the simplicity of the upper. A sleek nylon base replaces layered textures, giving the silhouette a smooth and modern finish. Mismatched Swooshes in white and blue create just enough contrast, while Fragment’s lightning “BOOK” logo on the tongue anchors the identity.

Built with balance in mind, the construction leans toward performance without sacrificing visual restraint. Exposed product labeling appears along the midsole, reinforcing Fragment’s utilitarian design language. The outsole adds subtle character with two blue circular hits inspired by Fragment’s signature color palette.

This Nike Book 2 collaboration signals a shift in how Fragment approaches basketball footwear. Rather than leaning into heavy storytelling, the design feels like a refinement of minimalism. It suggests brand evolution while keeping performance at the forefront.

Fragment rarely steps into signature basketball lines, which places this release in a small group alongside projects like KITH’s LeBron 17 or Titan’s Sabrina work. Still, Fragment carries a different cultural presence, making this feel more like a statement than a standard collaboration.

PACE x ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 Releases March 6th

Brazilian label PACE continues to build its global design language with ASICS, this time shifting focus to the GEL-Kayano 12.1. Founded by Felipe Matayoshi, the São Paulo-based brand has long explored the intersection of Brazilian energy and Japanese precision — a dual heritage that naturally aligns with ASICS’ roots.

The partnership first took shape in 2023 with a reworked GEL-QUANTUM 360 VII. Now, the duo returns with a project that feels more refined and forward-thinking. The PACE x ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 leans into elevated detailing rather than loud color blocking. A clean white and black foundation sets the tone, allowing texture to carry the story.

Layered synthetics form the upper, combining perforated panels with grid-like underlays. Overlays introduce a croc-inspired finish that adds dimension without overwhelming the silhouette. Glossy black accents sharpen the ASICS side stripes, while embossed PACE and ASICS branding alternates between the lateral and medial sides for subtle contrast. A hit of red at the heel and midfoot shank provides a final pop, breaking up the monochrome palette with intention.

The result is a sneaker that feels premium yet restrained — future-focused without abandoning the performance DNA that defines the Kayano line.

The PACE x ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 releases March 6th through PACE and select retailers for $200 USD.

JJJJound x New Balance 475 “Yellow” Teased For Spring 2026

JJJJound is expanding its Spring 2026 lineup with another understated take on the New Balance 475. After previewing a “Black” pair earlier this season, the Montreal-based studio has now teased a second colorway, this time dressed in golden yellow.

The early look reveals a suede-heavy upper in a soft yellow tone, contrasted by black New Balance logos along the sides. That black-on-muted pairing has become a familiar signature for JJJJound, echoing past projects on silhouettes like the 992 and 990v3. Additional details include a black inner lining, silver heel tab, crisp white tongue, and matching white laces that balance the brighter base.

Originally introduced in the 1980s as a long-distance running model, the New Balance 475 has quietly returned to the spotlight. Recent collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore and AURALEE, along with inline general releases, have helped reestablish the retro trainer in today’s rotation. Its classic build and layered paneling provide a clean foundation that aligns naturally with JJJJound’s stripped-back design language.

While an official release date has not been confirmed, the JJJJound x New Balance 475 in “Yellow” is expected to arrive in Spring 2026. More details, including pricing and availability, should surface in the coming weeks. Stay tuned as the rollout continues.

Andre Drummond Joins Stria Sport As Creative Director

Stria Sport is entering a new phase of growth with the addition of NBA veteran Andre Drummond as creative director and equity partner. The Chicago-based performance brand has steadily gained traction since launching in 2021, and this move positions it even deeper inside the athlete-led design space. Drummond will now play a direct role in product development, brand strategy, and future partnerships.

The 14-year NBA veteran, currently with the Philadelphia 76ers, brings more than name recognition. A two-time All-Star and four-time rebounding champion, Drummond remains one of the league’s most dominant glass-cleaners, averaging 12.0 rebounds per game over his career — the highest mark of any player in the past 25 years. His experience on the floor will directly influence Stria’s next basketball performance model, with a signature shoe already in development.

Stria Sport has quietly built credibility across the global basketball landscape. More than 100 professional players have worn the brand in competition, including athletes who competed during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The company also secured the official footwear partnership with the Harlem Globetrotters during their 100th-anniversary season, adding heritage visibility to its growing résumé.

Beyond basketball, Stria is expanding into other performance categories. The brand recently signed top-ranked men’s doubles pickleball player Gabe Tardio, introducing the G1 court shoe with a G1 Pro follow-up expected soon.

With Drummond stepping into ownership and creative leadership, Stria Sport is signaling long-term ambition. The partnership reflects a modern blueprint: athletes shaping the products they wear, not just endorsing them.
