Nike Air Max Joga Bonito “Black/University Red” Releases September 2026

The Nike Air Max Joga Bonito is set for another release in September, this time in a mostly black “Black/University Red” colorway. Black and charcoal make up nearly the entire shoe, with white Swooshes and a few red details doing most of the contrasting.

There’s more variation in the upper than the color palette suggests. Different synthetic panels bring in glossy, matte, and slightly patterned finishes, especially around the toe and along the sides. Dark piping follows the layered shape of the shoe, and the black laces and lining keep the overall look pretty uniform.

The white Swoosh is the clearest break from all that black. Smaller branding appears near the heel, while University Red shows up around the tongue, on the insoles, and in sections of the outsole. You can also see a dark red tint through the larger Air unit at the heel.

Several visible Air chambers run through the midsole, which stays black from front to back. Combined with the stacked upper and heavy tooling, that cushioning gives the Joga Bonito its familiar bulky shape.

Nike Mind 002 Flyknit “Sanddrift” Puts a Softer Spin on Experimental Footwear

Arriving as part of the Fall 2026 lineup, the Nike Mind 002 Flyknit “Sanddrift” combines Sand Drift, Plum Eclipse, Light Orewood Brown, and Fossil Rose across its experimental build.

Sand Drift covers most of the Flyknit upper, with open-knit sections worked into the sides for ventilation. The forefoot and tongue use fuzzy, raw-edged overlays that give the shoe a more layered look, while thin laces cross the upper and run through a molded Nike toggle. Pull tabs extend from both the tongue and heel.

The midsole stays close to the upper in tone and features small perforations across the sidewalls. Beneath it, the Mind 002 uses 22 independently moving outsole nodes designed to interact with the bottom of the foot while walking. Plum Eclipse darkens those rounded pods and gives the outsole some contrast.

Metallic Nike Mind badges appear at the heels, joined by subtle Swoosh branding and darker reinforcement around the rear of the shoe.

Nike Mind 001 “Tarp Green” Releases October 2026

Arriving for Fall 2026, the “Tarp Green” colorway gives the Nike Mind 001 a darker, more muted look. Most of the molded one-piece upper is covered in army green, with a slightly lighter shade used across the soft perforated tongue area.

Nike keeps the color blocking simple from there. Small Swooshes on the top and sides come finished in glossy metallic black instead of the silver branding seen on some earlier pairs, while light tan nodes underneath add the main contrast.

Those raised nodes remain the most recognizable part of the Mind 001. Spread across the footbed, they’re designed to apply pressure to different areas of the foot as you move, giving the mule a very different feel from a standard slide.

The open heel, sculpted shape and textured footbed all return without any major changes. With the darker green upper and black branding, this version stays focused on the existing design instead of adding extra graphics or louder accents.

Nike Dunk Low Retro Gets a “Seal of Authenticity”

The Nike Dunk Low Retro “Seal of Authenticity” keeps the usual Dunk look mostly intact, then has a little fun with the branding. A cartoon seal shows up on the tongue tags and insoles next to the “Seal of Authenticity” text, giving the shoe a retro Nike Sportswear vibe without turning the whole design into a gimmick.

Light blue suede covers nearly all of the upper, and the finish looks a little rougher than the usual leather Dunk. Navy leather Swooshes add contrast through the sides, with matching laces carrying that darker shade up top. The collar stays light blue with mesh lining, and the perforated toe keeps the standard Dunk Low look in place.

Cream suede at the heel breaks up the blue, finished with red Nike embroidery. Red also shows up on the tongue branding, which helps tie those smaller details together without adding another major color block.

Underneath, Nike goes with a full gum sole. The brown midsole and outsole give the shoe a warmer base and fit the retro Sportswear branding better than a standard white setup probably would.

Nike Air More Uptempo OG “Black/White” Releases August 21st

The Nike Air More Uptempo “Black/White” is making another comeback for Fall 2026. With huge “AIR” lettering stretching across the sides, the shoe became one of the defining Nike Basketball designs of the 1990s and remains closely linked to Scottie Pippen’s playoff run.

For the 2026 release, Nike is using the same SKU as the 2023 retro, which featured a shape and construction closer to the original 1996 pair. Black nubuck covers the upper, while white piping outlines the massive lettering along both sides for the shoe’s familiar high-contrast look.

Additional details include a black jeweled Swoosh on the heel and full-length Air cushioning underfoot. Although the Air More Uptempo was originally built for basketball, its bulky sole and aggressive profile eventually made it just as popular away from the court.

Air Jordan 3 “Purple Haze” Releases Spring 2027

Jordan Brand has another women’s Air Jordan 3 lined up for 2027, this time covering the classic silhouette almost entirely in purple. Dubbed the “Purple Haze,” the new colorway is expected to arrive as part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection.

Infinite Lilac takes over most of the shoe, giving the Air Jordan 3 a tonal look across the upper. While early images are based on a mock-up, the final release is expected to stay close to the same color blocking. Suede is used throughout, including the panels where elephant print would normally appear.

The purple theme continues around the heel with Jumpman branding, while a lighter shade on the outsole breaks things up slightly underfoot. Overall, the design keeps things simple without adding much contrast to the upper.

Nike Air Force ’01 “Triple Black” Gets a Y2K-Inspired Update

The Nike Air Force 1 ’01 “Triple Black” is shaping up as one of the first familiar colorways to arrive on the updated Y2K-inspired version of the classic. New images show the shoe covered almost entirely in black, keeping the look that has made the “Triple Black” Air Force 1 a regular part of Nike’s lineup for years.

This version does more than swap colors onto the standard AF1. The Air Force 1 ’01 uses softer leather across the upper with a slimmer, slightly shorter shape compared to current pairs. Extra padding gives the shoe a fuller feel around the collar, while the heel has a softer, more slouched appearance that leans closer to Air Force 1s from the early 2000s.

Black runs across the leather upper, Swoosh, laces, tongue, lining, midsole, and outsole for the familiar monochromatic finish. The changes are mostly in the shape and materials, allowing the “Triple Black” colorway to stay recognizable while the ’01 construction gives it a noticeably different profile.

Nike Pegasus Plus 2 “Flash Crimson” Debuts September 2026

Built around a new ZoomX and Zoom Air setup, the Nike Pegasus Plus 2 moves the line closer to the feel of Nike’s faster running shoes without leaving the daily trainer category. The biggest changes show up underfoot, where the new tooling gives the model a much different profile from the previous version.

The first pair arrives in “Flash Crimson,” which covers most of the shoe in a bright red-pink finish. Black runs through the side panels and appears again around the tongue, heel and outsole. Metallic Swooshes sit over the darker graphics, while the upper itself uses a thin engineered mesh with extra support around the toe and eyestays.

Most of the visual change comes from the sole. The Zoom Air unit is exposed near the front, and the ZoomX foam gets much thicker toward the heel, creating a taller and more sculpted profile. Black rubber is used underneath in the main wear areas, with the outsole broken up to keep the build from looking too bulky.

Pegasus Plus branding appears on the tongue, heel and insoles, while the rest of the shoe stays fairly stripped back. The result is a more technical-looking Pegasus Plus without adding much unnecessary detail to the upper.

Nike Air Force 1 Low LX “1CON” Revisits a 2008 Tokyo Classic

The Nike Air Force 1 LX “1CON” is bringing one of Tokyo’s older Air Force 1 stories back into focus ahead of the model’s 45th anniversary in 2027. Built around the city’s connection to hip-hop, sneaker culture, and Harajuku retail history, the release draws heavily from a realmad HECTIC Air Force 1 that arrived nearly two decades ago.

That reference shows up most clearly in the upper. The new “1CON” uses green leather where the 2008 realmad HECTIC x Nike Air Force 1 leaned on red croc-textured leather, giving the older color concept a reversed look rather than copying it outright. The original pair was sold through 1LOVE, the Harajuku space opened around the Air Force 1’s 25th anniversary.

Nike also brought several of those older cues into the smaller details. “1CON” branding is laser-engraved on the heel in a style tied to the earlier 1LOVE releases, while ostrich-textured leather covers the Swoosh and heel panel. Aged gold accents on the eyelets and Air Force 1 dubrae add another vintage touch without changing the familiar shape of the shoe.

The Tokyo release sits within a wider city-based series centered on places that helped shape music and local subcultures. In this case, the focus is less on a broad Tokyo theme and more on the city’s history of taking older hip-hop and sneaker references and reworking them for a newer generation.

Nike recently displayed the Air Force 1 LX “1CON” at an exhibition at atmos Sendagaya, where it appeared alongside the original realmad HECTIC Air Force 1 and the all-white “1NIGHT” Friends & Family pair from 2008. That “1NIGHT” edition was given to guests at an invite-only event held at 1LOVE. Even the exhibition wall referenced the former store through the same circular design language.

The Nike Air Force 1 LX “1CON” releases first in Japan on August 31, 2026, including at atmos. A wider launch is expected to follow through Nike SNKRS and additional retailers worldwide.

Victor Victor is not the only name tied to the slimmer Air Force 1 build from 2001 this fall. Nike is also bringing out a separate “Cracked Leather” Pack, adding black-and-white and green-and-white pairs to the Air Force 1 ’01 lineup.

The cracked patent finish does most of the work on both shoes. It covers the overlays, toe panels, and Swooshes, giving the upper a glossy, broken-in look that feels more vintage than distressed. White leather fills in the base, with matching laces and midsoles keeping the two colorways from looking overdone.

Then there is the shape itself. The 2001 build sits lower through the toe and looks noticeably leaner from the side, especially next to the thicker Air Force 1s Nike has released in recent years. Black rubber finishes the darker pair, while the green version gets a matching outsole. Nike Air branding stays in the usual spots on the tongue, heel, and midsole.

JENNIE Reworks the adidas Superstar Into a Square-Toed Ballet Flat

JENNIE has been around adidas for a while, but now she finally has a shoe tied directly to her name. The JENNIE x adidas Superstar Square Ballet takes the Superstar in a completely different direction, swapping its usual sneaker shape for something closer to a ballet flat.

The shape is where most of the changes happen. adidas keeps the Superstar shell toe, then flattens and squares it off for a wider look up front. The usual lacing setup has also been removed. An elastic strap crosses the midfoot, with a small bow near the toe giving the shoe its clearest ballet reference.

So far, two black-and-white pairs have surfaced. One comes in Off White/Core Black-Core White, using a light base with black Three Stripes and matching accents. The other flips the palette with a Core Black/Core Black-Off White finish. A stitched label inside pairs JENNIE branding with the adidas Originals Trefoil.

The Superstar Square Ballet fits into adidas’ recent run of ballet-inspired women’s footwear, though this one starts with a much more recognizable base. JENNIE has also appeared in early campaign imagery wearing black-and-white adidas gear while performing ballet, which lines up with the direction of the shoe.

The JENNIE x adidas Superstar Square Ballet is scheduled to release September 1, 2026, in Korea.

Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” Returns December 2026

The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” is coming back for Holiday 2026, and the latest photos show Jordan Brand sticking pretty close to the version people already know. Black mesh and patent leather make up the upper, with a white midsole, icy outsole and blue Jumpman branding finishing things off.

The usual details are still there too, including the “23” on the heels and “JUMPMAN JAM” across the tongue. From what we can see so far, the shape and patent leather cut look a lot like the 2016 pair, which was made to better match Michael Jordan’s original PE. We still haven’t seen the packaging.

The “Space Jam” 11 has a long history behind it. Jordan wore the black-and-blue pair during the 1995 NBA Playoffs, and a year later the shoe showed up in Space Jam with Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes. That’s where the nickname came from, but the shoe became much bigger than the movie over time.

The first retail release came in 2000, then the colorway returned again in 2009. That release was a huge one, with packed malls, long lines and overnight campouts in a lot of cities. It was one of those launches that showed where sneaker releases were headed in the years that followed.

Jordan Brand brought the shoe back again in 2016, this time with a taller patent leather cut, a reshaped upper and other changes pulled from Jordan’s original game-worn pair. The release was massive, and Nike later called it the company’s biggest footwear launch at the time.

Holiday 2026 won’t be just about the original “Space Jam” pair either. A separate “Green Screen,” also being called the “Monstars,” is expected to release as well, giving Jordan Brand another way to revisit the movie theme.

SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 First Look

SoleFly and Jordan Brand are linking up again for 2026, with an Air Jordan 5 next on the schedule. The Miami shop just worked on the Air Jordan 3 last year, and now we’re getting our first real look at what they did with the AJ5.

The sample gives us pretty much the whole picture. Grey suede runs across the upper, with black filling in the tongue, eyelets, netting and midsole. Teal is the only real pop of color here, showing up on the SoleFly logo by the heel, the lacelock and the teeth on the midsole.

There’s also a translucent outsole underneath with a slightly aged tint. SoleFly branding is worked into a few spots around the shoe, but otherwise the pair keeps the usual Air Jordan 5 build intact.

The official colors are Black, Aurora Green, Anthracite and Muslin. Looking at the sample, Aurora Green appears to be the teal used throughout the shoe, while Anthracite and black make up most of the darker look.

Taller De Rafa x Nike Air Max Goadome Low Comes With a Wrench

Taller De Rafa is stepping into footwear with Nike, using the Air Max Goadome Low for the Bronx label’s first sneaker collaboration. Founded by brothers Genesis and Rafael Valverde during the pandemic, TDR grew from a small screen-printing setup into a New York streetwear brand with a strong automotive influence.

That car culture carries straight into the Taller De Rafa x Nike Air Max Goadome Low. Brown leather covers the upper, with worn edges and subtle distressing giving the shoe a broken-in look. The presentation follows the same idea, including packaging designed with an oil-stained finish.

Garage-inspired details show up throughout the pair, including hexagonal eyestays and a speed wrench hangtag. An exposed Swoosh and TDR patch sits near the heel, while mesh around the collar breaks up the leather construction. Several lace options are also included, ranging from traditional boot laces to wide two-tone and thin leather versions.

Nike First Sight Shadow Surfaces in “Light Crimson”

The Nike First Sight Shadow “Light Crimson” takes a lot of its shape from the basketball shoes Nike was making in the late ’90s. The molded upper gives it a clear Foamposite feel, while the snug slip-on build brings some Huarache influence into the mix as well.

The First Sight series has been Nike’s way of playing around with performance footwear and pushing it in a more fashion-focused direction. Some pairs in the line borrow from running and track shoes, but the Shadow is much more rooted in basketball. The rounded shell, bulky shape and bootie-style entry all make that pretty obvious.

This “Light Crimson” pair keeps things simple with a red and black setup. Light Crimson covers most of the molded upper, while black shows up around the collar, outsole and several other sections. A small metallic Swoosh sits near the toe, and dotted detailing around the heel adds a little more texture without making the shoe feel too busy.

The Nike Air Bakin “Varsity Red” is set for a Fall 2026 return, resurrecting a bold late-’90s Nike Basketball release complete with a Miami-inspired color scheme.

Designed by Eric Avar, the Nike Air Bakin saw its greatest fame on the feet of Tim Hardaway while he played for the Miami Heat. Featuring a bulky silhouette, ribbed upper, and aggressive paneling the Air Bakin helped pave the way for a time where Nike basketball shoes were huge and as menacing off the court as they were on.

This “Varsity Red” colorway channels that same spirit, featuring a black foundation, vibrant red accents, and yellow laces that unmistakably evoke Miami. White trim adds contrast through the side panels, while the black molded sections give the shoe its familiar layered look. Nike Air branding shows up on the heel in red as well, taking the place of the controversial wavy logo from the first release.

Nike stays true to the OG silhouette with an ample high-cut upper, exposed heel Air cushioning, pull tabs and that chunky outsole design that gave the Air Bakin its signature attitude. Adding to the throwback vibe, the outsole sports a red cutout with yellow Nike branding.
