Air Jordan 9 “Gym Red” Returns Summer 2027

Jordan Brand is bringing the Air Jordan 9 “Gym Red” back for Summer 2027, giving one of the modern non-original colorways another run at retail.

The colorway first released in October 2019 and gave the Air Jordan 9 a simple White and Gym Red setup with a glossy patent leather finish. It was not part of the original 1993 lineup, but it became one of the more recognizable modern takes on the model because of how clean the blocking was.

The 2027 version is expected to stay close to the 2019 release. White leather covers most of the upper, while Gym Red patent leather wraps the mudguard and continues onto the midsole. More red appears on the heel, collar, tongue branding, and parts of the outsole, with black used on the lining, Jumpman logo, and heel pull tab.

The shoe will keep the Air Jordan 9s usual outsole details, including the multilingual graphics and encapsulated Air cushioning. This release is also expected to use an updated mold, which should help the shape sit closer to the original Air Jordan 9.

Air Jordan 11 Low “Cherry” Returns Summer 2027

Jordan Brand is bringing back another warm-weather favorite, with the Air Jordan 11 Low “Cherry” expected to return in Summer 2027.

First released in 2001, the “Cherry” colorway was one of the early patent leather Air Jordan 11 Lows to hit retail. Its clean White and Varsity Red setup helped it stand out without doing too much, and the pair later made its first retro comeback in 2016. More than a decade later, the summer staple is now lined up for another run.

The shoe keeps the familiar look intact. White ballistic mesh covers the upper, while smooth white leather appears around the heel and eyestays. Varsity Red patent leather wraps the mudguard, giving the low-top its signature “Cherry” look. More red hits land on the Jumpman branding and tongue details, while a white midsole and icy translucent outsole finish off the design.

New Balance 990v4 “Pumpernickel/Pink Chalk” Will Release July 10th

The New Balance 990v4 “Pumpernickel/Pink Chalk” drops July 10, 2026, on NewBalance.com and at select retailers for $185.

Dark brown reigns supreme here as Pumpernickel covers the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and overlays along the bottom of the shoe. It’s also used on the shoe’s laces, midsole and outsole. Using brown as a base anchors the shoe down a bit giving it some weight to offset all of the pink on display throughout the upper.

Pink Chalk hits the toe box, tongue, collar, and panels along either side of the shoe. Matching overlays weave through the forefoot and midfoot sections while Alabaster is used on the shoe’s lining and trim for a softer vintage feel. Gold accents on “N” logos and branding complete the look with just enough pop of color without going overboard.

The silhouette sports all of the trappings we love about the 990v4 formula. The layered paneling is present, as are the “990” heel branding, New Balance branded tongues, and Made in USA labeling. The colors differ, but the allure is all too familiar.

Cop this New Balance 990v4 “Pumpernickel/Pink Chalk” on July 10, 2026 at NewBalance.com and various retail outlets. Retail price is $185. Check out the official photos below.

New Balance 992 “Pink Chalk” Releases July 10th

New Balance will continue refreshing its Made in USA series with another iteration of its 992 family. This version reimagines the classic runner in a muted “Pink Chalk” hue for a minimal seasonal refresh.

Pink Chalk encompasses most of the upper, covering the mesh base, leather panels and suede overlays. The hue lightens up the look of the 992, but the stacked construction adds depth to keep it from becoming too flat. Texturally, you still receive everything you’ve come to know and love from the model as a staple in New Balance’ premium running arsenal.

Pink Lemonade finds itself used sparingly on the eyelets, heel detail, midfoot branding and outsole. Cherry Leather provides the darker contrast on the tongue, laces, collar, “N” branding, and midsole. Grayscale was used on the heel and outsole to mute the warmer color palette slightly.

As always, you’ll find “USA” branding on the heel and “992” accents on both the tongue and ankle. Naturally, New Balance logos are found throughout the shoe, while ABZORB and SBS cushioning are deployed underneath your feet.

The New Balance 992 “Pink Chalk” will drop on July 10, 2026 via NewBalance.com and select retailers for $200. Check out the official photos below.

Howard Bison Reveals Air Jordan 11 Football Cleats PE

Howard University’s Jordan Brand run keeps getting stronger, and its latest football exclusives add two more pairs to the school’s growing PE lineup.

Ahead of the Bisons’ return to the field this fall, Jordan Brand delivered special Air Jordan 11 TD cleats made exclusively for Howard’s football program. The set includes both Mid and Low versions, each dressed in a bold blue patent leather upper that gives the cleats a sharp, almost glossy finish under the lights.

Howard branding appears through the school’s Bison logo on the tongue ribbon, while the Mid pair adds red metal Jumpman logos for extra contrast. The full patent leather build might not be the most breathable setup for summer football in Washington, D.C., but visually, these are some of the cleaner Jordan football PEs we’ve seen this offseason.

Howard has received several strong Air Jordan player exclusives since signing its long-term Jordan Brand deal in 2022. With the school’s Jordan 1 Low series also expected to continue, the Bisons are making a real case as one of Jordan Brand’s best PE programs.

Like most school-issued Jordan cleats, the Howard Air Jordan 11 TD PE will not release to the public.

Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe “Emerald Rise” Releases Spring 2027

Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has unveiled another prototype look from his upcoming Nike Moon Shoe collaboration. This time around he’s released a baby blue pair that Nike hasn’t officially announced. While the silhouette isn’t straying too far from what we’ve already seen, the pastel color puts this vintage runner in a softer light.

The Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe “Emerald Rise” is mainly light aquamarine on the upper with teal detailed towards the Swoosh and lace clips. Texture wise the side Swoosh appears to be ostrich leather creating a small material contrast on top of the textured knit material.

Keeping the serrated suede lace tabs down the eyestay and gum rubber outsole returning beneath, Jacquemus is keeping the construction similar here. Letting the color story of blue and teal be what sets this pair apart from the more toned down colorways we’ve previously seen.

The Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe “Emerald Rise” releases Spring 2027 via Nike.com and select retailers for $180 USD.

Nike SB Air Foamposite One Releases Spring 2027

Nike SB has been reaching into some unexpected parts of the Nike archive lately, and the Foamposite One could be next in line.

Early reports have the Nike Air Foamposite One joining the SB lineup for the first time in Spring 2027. That is a pretty unusual move on its own. Penny Hardaway’s signature model was built for basketball, not skating, and its molded shell, heavier feel, and bulky shape are a long way from what most people picture when they think of Nike SB.

The first reported colorway comes in Black, White, and Team Red. No official images have surfaced yet, so the early mock-ups making rounds should only be treated as a placeholder for now. The final version will change once Nike SB reveals the shoe.

Nike SB has already been pushing into non-traditional skate models, including recent crossover projects tied to the Air Max 95 and Air Force 1. The Foamposite is different, though. Its shell is the whole identity of the shoe, so it will be interesting to see how Nike SB adjusts the build without making it feel too far removed from the original.

The Nike SB Air Foamposite One is expected to release during Spring 2027 at select Nike SB retailers and Nike.com. The retail price is set at $240 USD.

First Look At The Jordan Tatum 5

Jayson Tatum’s next signature shoe is starting to make its first rounds, giving us an early look at what Jordan Brand has planned after the Tatum 4.

The Jordan Tatum 5 is expected to arrive during Holiday 2026, and the first preview shows a noticeable change in direction. This pair looks more structured than the last model, with a forefoot strap across the front and a sharp midfoot piece built into the side.

The first colorway shown comes in “Bright Concord/Bright Mango-Urban Lilac-China Rose.” Purple covers most of the upper, while pink paint-like hits move across the side panels. It is definitely one of the louder early looks from Tatum’s line, but the color blocking still works because the base of the shoe is fairly sleek.

Perforations show up around the toe and side panels, which helps break up the upper a little. The midsole is where the design gets heavier, with a raised support piece that wraps upward and adds more shape around the bottom half. Cream detailing appears on the strap, though the branding is still not fully clear from this first image. More angles should give a better look at the JT and Jordan logos.

The Jordan Tatum 5 “Bright Concord” is expected to release during Holiday 2026 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price is set at $135 USD.

Jordan Son of Mars Low “Cool Grey” Goes Heavy On Retro DNA

The Jordan Son of Mars Low is getting another grey-based release for Fall 2026, this time using a familiar Cool Grey setup across the hybrid silhouette. The model has always been built around borrowed details from past Air Jordans, and this pair keeps that formula intact while leaning into one of Jordan Brand’s most recognizable color stories.

Official images show the Jordan Son of Mars Low “Cool Grey” dressed in Cool Grey, White, and Wolf Grey. Most of the upper is covered in soft grey tones, while darker patent leather runs along the mudguard and wraps the heel for contrast. White laces and a White midsole keep the colorway from feeling too heavy, with an icy translucent outsole adding a light blue finish underfoot.

Instead of basing itself on one particular Jordan retro, the shoe pulls from several classics. Details include a tongue from the Air Jordan 5, heel tab from the Air Jordan 6, lace wings from the Air Jordan 4 and a midsole harkening back to the Air Jordan 3. Perforated side panels, visible heel Air cushioning and Jumpman logos are the cherry on top of iconic Jordan features.

Mars Blackmon references remain part of the design as well. The lace shrouds feature character graphics, while metal-style dubraes split “Son Of” on one shoe and “Mars” on the other. Those details connect the release back to the Spike Lee-inspired theme that helped define the Son of Mars line when it first arrived.

The Jordan Son of Mars Low “Cool Grey” releases Fall 2026 in a Cool Grey/White-Wolf Grey colorway via Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price is set at $165.

Nike Air Liquid Max “Light Bone” Adds Green Cushioning

The Nike Air Liquid Max is set to debut in a lighter iteration for Summer 2026. With its “Light Bone” colorway, the sneaker tones down its futuristic look, especially compared to the darker shades of its initial drops.

An off-white upper takes charge of the design as thin grey linework traces the bottom half of Nike Air Liquid Max while also breaking up each molded shoe panel. While still sculpted with tech-heavy touches, this lighter colorway tones down some of the aggression and allows the sneaker to feel more wearable.

Thin chrome accents on the Swoosh continue the metallic interruption at the midfoot while vertical grey support pieces and Air Max branding wraps Nike Air Liquid Max‘s heel. Bright green full-length Air padding is the main splash of color underfoot, running through the shoe’s chunky sole. The green pushes through to the translucent outsole as well, providing the otherwise neutral silhouette with its biggest blast of color.

Look for the Nike Air Liquid Max “Light Bone” to arrive in Summer 2026, available at Nike.com and other retailers. Price is expected to be $225 USD.

Air Jordan 4 “Comic” Releases July 25th

Jordan Brand is revisiting one of Michael Jordan’s very first Nike apparel creations with the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Comic.” Set to drop on July 25, 2026, this shoe takes cues from MJ’s 1985 comic-themed Dunk T-shirt, transforming that vibrant graphic into a fresh Air Jordan 4 look.

The source of inspiration might not be a fresh concept, but it’s certainly evident now that the initial photos are out. The original shirt depicted Jordan soaring for a dunk with striking comic-book artwork, and that dynamic visual style is mirrored on the shoe through sharp angles, vibrant accents, and illustrated branding. It’s even being said that the matching T-shirt will also be back for this release, completely recreating that initial clothing set.

Michael Jordan’s comic-themed “Dunk” T-shirt from 1985, which inspired the Air Jordan 4 “Comic” via @vintageairjordan23

The majority of the upper is off-white leather allowing the louder elements to pop. A soft gradient of yellow, orange, and pink colors the netting found beneath the side panels and tongue. This touch echoes the color scheme of the vintage “Dunk” tee, yet keeps the shoe from feeling too much.

Comic book touches really stand out near the eyelets and heel. The top wing eyelet features pink spiked shapes that look like they’ve popped straight out of a comic panel, either as a speech bubble or an action burst. A touch of red is added to the lower wing eyelet, near where the laces go. The black support wings and heel tabs serve to anchor the bolder color pops to the familiar Jordan 4 silhouette.

A pink Jumpman logo, subtly sketched with a gradient, sits on the tongue, with “Flight” lettering beneath. At the heel, the Nike Air detail features a dotted comic-print overlay and a vibrant gradient fill, creating a first-edition comic aesthetic rather than standard retro branding.

The sole features a black, cream, and pink midsole with prominent Air cushioning. The aged cream section adds a vintage feel, while the pink outsole keeps the theme connected from top to bottom. To round out the appearance, the shoes feature white laces, an off-white interior, and black detailing at the front.

The Air Jordan 4 “Comic” is expected to release July 25, 2026, through SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers. The shoe will be available in family sizing, with retail set at $230 for men, $165 for grade school, $105 for preschool, and $90 for toddler sizes. Check out the official photos below.

Nike Air Force 1 Low LX “Icon” Detailed With Ostrich Swooshes

The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX “Icon” takes the classic low-top in a brighter direction for Summer 2026, covering the shoe in an official “Green Apple/Chlorophyll/Green Apple” colorway.

The upper uses glossy leather to give the pair a slick, almost candy-like finish, while ostrich-textured leather on the Swoosh and heel tab adds a more premium break from the solid green base. Bronze metal eyelets and a matching lace dubrae bring in a vintage touch, helped by an aged, chipped finish that gives the hardware a worn character.

Nike also uses the shoe’s “Icon” theme as more than just a name. Branding appears on the lateral heel, with the middle letters shaped from the Air Force 1’s familiar outsole pattern. Inside, the insoles feature a green X-ray-style illustration of the shoe with loose laces, adding one of the more playful details to the design.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX “Icon” is scheduled to release Summer 2026 through Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price is set at $140.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Black Mummy Duck” Releases November 2026

Nike is taking one of Oregon’s player-exclusive Foamposites and giving it a real retail run, with the “Mummy Duck” theme expected to land on the Air Foamposite Pro later this year.

This will not be the exact same pair Oregon athletes received. That version used a lighter PE look, while the upcoming retail pair is expected to come in a darker “Black/Barely Volt-White” colorway for Holiday 2026. It still sounds like Nike is keeping the main details that made the original pair work, just reworked in a way that feels more wearable for a wider release.

Official images have not surfaced yet, but early details point to the wrapped Swoosh, mummy-style striping across the Foamposite shell, and glow-in-the-dark hits. The outsole is also expected to glow green, with reflective accents on the heel and Mummy Duck branding stamped on the back.

Oregon’s original “Mummy Duck” Foamposite Pro and matching Vaporposite cleats were made for the football team ahead of a 2025 matchup. Neither pair released to the public, which is part of why the theme caught so much attention once photos started spreading. Nike has turned Oregon exclusives into retail drops before, and this one looks like it will follow that same lane.

Nike Atelier Merc Premium Debuts July 2026 For $450

Nike Atelier is bringing one of its athlete-focused projects to retail with the Merc Premium, a bold hybrid created alongside a custom collection for French soccer star Désiré Doué. The sneaker is expected to release in July 2026 for $450, though Nike has not announced an exact date or confirmed where it will be sold.

Doué’s one-of-one apparel was designed for his first World Cup appearance and will remain exclusive to the athlete. The footwear, however, gives the public a chance to own part of the project—albeit at a price that places it among Nike’s most expensive releases of the year.

The Nike Atelier Merc Premium revives the shape of Ronaldo’s original Mercurial R9 from 1998. Its black leather upper keeps the streamlined look of the legendary soccer boot, which has recently influenced several Nike Cryoshot releases.

Underfoot, Nike swaps the Mercurial’s field-ready setup for the oversized cushioning used on the Pegasus Premium. ReactX and ZoomX foams work alongside full-length Air Zoom underneath.

Neither a traditional soccer boot nor a true running shoe, the Merc Premium lands firmly in the lifestyle category. The combination feels intentionally unconventional, linking a late-1990s football icon with one of Nike’s most advanced modern cushioning systems.

The Nike Atelier Merc Premium is currently expected to launch in July 2026 for $450 through Dover Street Market locations as well as on SNKRS. Check out the official photos of both the black and white colorways below.

Both just became available via SNKRS Reserve. The shoes will be shipped by November 24th, 2026.

Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Shanghai Fireworks” Returns November 2026

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Shanghai Fireworks” is returning for Fall 2026, bringing back one of the Kobe 8s most sought-after regional releases. The pair is currently expected to release November 11, 2026 for $200 USD.

Originally launched in 2013 as a China-exclusive, the Kobe 8 “Shanghai Fireworks” built its reputation through limited access and one of the louder graphic uppers from Kobe Bryant’s low-cut signature line. The 2026 Protro keeps the same energy with a Laser Orange, Cinnabar, and Safety Orange color palette, using fiery streaks across the engineered mesh upper to connect back to the fireworks theme.

The story behind the colorway also ties into Kobe’s long-standing connection with China. Bryant made regular summer visits overseas with Nike years before those trips became a routine part of modern signature athlete marketing. His popularity in China helped expand his global reach, while the 2013 timing also lines up with the Lakers’ preseason games against Stephen Curry and the Warriors in Beijing and Shanghai.

Design details stay close to the original. The upper mixes orange and yellow tones with darker Swoosh branding, while Kobe logos appear on the tongue and outsole. The heel adds extra graphic detailing, and the translucent outsole gives the bright upper a little balance underfoot. Style code IO6259-800 is attached to this 2026 release.

Like other Kobe Protro models, the “Shanghai Fireworks” update is expected to preserve the look of the original while bringing the performance setup closer to today’s standards. That matters with the Kobe 8, a model still favored for its low profile, lightweight feel, and court-ready build.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Foamposite Pro “Pewter” Returns Summer 2027

Nike is going back to one of its bolder Air Force 1 projects, bringing the Air Force 1 Low Foamposite Pro “Pewter” back for Summer 2027, returning alongside the “Gym Red” pair.

The shoe first dropped in 2012, during a stretch where Nike was more willing to mash up classic lifestyle models with basketball tech. This pair takes the regular Air Force 1 Low shape and swaps out the usual leather upper for a molded Foamposite-style shell. In “Pewter,” that shell comes in metallic grey, covering the toe and side panels with the kind of molded finish people usually connect to the Foamposite Pro.

Black does most of the balancing here. It shows up on the laces, neoprene tongue, collar, heel tab, pull tab, midsole, and outsole, keeping the metallic upper from looking too loud. The glossy black Swoosh also helps push the Foamposite Pro connection without making the shoe feel completely removed from the Air Force 1.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Foamposite Pro Pewter Release Date
