The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” is set to return for Holiday 2026, and the first detailed images show Jordan Brand staying close to the version fans already know. Black mesh, glossy patent leather, white midsoles, and icy outsoles remain in place, with blue Jumpman branding adding the colorway’s signature finish.

The 2026 retro also keeps the familiar “23” on the heels and “JUMPMAN JAM” lettering across the tongue strips. Early photos suggest a shape and patent leather cut similar to the 2016 release, which was redesigned to better match Michael Jordan’s original player edition. Packaging has not surfaced yet.

Few Air Jordan 11 colorways carry the same history. Jordan first wore the black-and-blue pair during the 1995 NBA Playoffs, one year before it appeared in Space Jam alongside Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes. The movie connection gave the shoe its nickname, but its place in sneaker culture grew well beyond the film.

The first retail release arrived in 2000, followed by a major comeback in 2009. That launch became known for packed malls, overnight campouts, and long lines across the country, offering an early look at the sneaker-release chaos that became common during the following decade.

Jordan Brand revisited the colorway in 2016 with a taller patent leather section, reshaped upper, and other changes inspired by Jordan’s game-worn pair. Nike later called it the company’s biggest and most successful footwear launch at the time, showing how much demand still surrounded the “Space Jam” after multiple releases.

The anniversary year may include more than one movie-inspired Jordan 11. A separate “Space Jam Galaxy” colorway is also expected, giving Jordan Brand another way to revisit the theme without changing the original pair.

Air Jordan 11 Space Jam 2026 Release Date

The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” releases December 12, 2026, at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. Full-family sizing will be available, with adult pairs priced at $255, grade school at $190, little kids at $105, and infant and toddler sizes at $90. The adult price represents a $20 increase from the previous standard Air Jordan 11 price.
