Virgil Abloh and Nike will be expanding their Off-White x Nike Air Max 97 lineup into the fall season. One of the pairs that will be available is this “Menta” colorway.

Dressed in a Off White, Wolf Grey, White, and Menta color scheme. This Nike Air Max 97 features a Grey-based upper with a rainbow gradient Nike Swoosh. Off-White’s signature tongue label, text, branded insoles and laces completes the design.

Kyle Kuzma Signs Sneaker Deal With GOAT

Los Angeles Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma has partnered with GOAT to become the first athlete partnership with a sneaker reselling platform following the NBA removing its restrictions on sneaker colors.

The upcoming 2018-19 season will be the first in which players have the full freedom to wear shoes of any color, and Kuzma will lead the charge in partnership with the largest resale platform for sneakers.

“GOAT has inspired me to start collecting more seriously and build my style around sneakers,” said Kyle Kuzma. “People assume that, as an NBA athlete, you can get access to any kind of sneaker you want. When in reality, it’s hard to get the exclusive releases or shoes from the past, and feel confident they’re authentic. GOAT gives me a second chance at not only the limited releases I missed, but also the shoes I wasn’t able to afford growing up.”

For the Lakers season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow, October 18th, Kuzma has designed his own Kobe AD to wear for opening week, so after that you can expect to see him wear a range of sneakers from his new partnership with GOAT.

Off-White Nike Air Max 97 Black Cone Release Date

During his Off-White runway in Paris Fashion Week, Virgil Abloh revealed two new colorways of the Off-White x Nike Air Max 97. One of those was this “Black” iteration, that is scheduled to release later this fall season. It was also previewed during Off-White’s S/S 2019 runway show as a part of the “Orange 3-Ring Binder” body of work.

Dressed in a Black, Cone, and White color scheme. This Nike Air Max 97 comes with the signature deconstructed look featuring a translucent-like upper. A White Swoosh logo, “AIR” stamp on each heel, “Shoelaces” branding on the laces with an Orange tab finishes off the design.

Nike Air Huarache Gripp Olive AO1730-200 Release Date

Nike’s newest Air Huarache, the Air Huarache Gripp, made its debut earlier in the month. When the shoe released it came with a forefoot shroud, but now it appears that Nike is offering the shoe without that feature.

Shown here are two upcoming colorways with one dressed in “Olive” and the other in a “Triple Black” motif. Both are shroud-less, which is basically not that big of a difference since the pairs that come with it can be easily taken off.

No word on when these Nike Air Huarache Gripp color options will release, but you can expect a debut in the next couple weeks at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com.

In collaboration with Nike, John Elliott debuts a new Nike Vandal High this week. The traditional Nike Vandal High undergoes an exercise in reduction, with a luxury material upgrade, yielding a silhouette that is quintessentially John Elliott.

A premium nubuck suede upper and full-grain leather interior replace the traditional canvas and textile materials. Elliott revisits the shoe-swapping basketball camps of his youth, incorporating three exchangeable stability straps for deeper customization. This minimalistic approach replaces the standard prominent binding with a smaller, more tailored, piping around the paneling and a stitch-and-turn edge finishing on the upper for a smooth, clean look.

Kyrie Irving is set for the NBA season to tip-off, and just before the Boston Celtics play their first game, the superstar has already debuted his next signature shoe, the Nike Kyrie 5.

His fifth signature with Nike features a new Flytrap lockdown system, a large molded heel piece, and a new lacing system. This particular pair sports a clean Black-based upper with a large White Swoosh and branded tongues.

No word on when the Nike Kyrie 5 will officially release, but you an expect release details to come very soon.

Union Los Angeles is set to release an upcoming adidas Spezial Collection that is inspired by Terrace culture in the UK and New York B-boys in the ’70s.

For this collection, Union designed two version for the Garwen SPZ, one features a White leather upper with Royal Blue accents inspired by the 1994 colorway of the adidas 350, and the other boasts a premium British suede upper. Also included are matching apparel with co-branded “Union Spezial Crew” text.

Sean Wotherspoon Nike Air Max 1 Bespoke Corduroy Tear Away

While working on his “second wave” Air Max 1/97, Sean Wotherspoon was given the opportunity to hit up NikeLab and create something funky using the Nike Air Max 1 silhouette.

His exclusive Bespoke Air Max 1 comes constructed with corduroy material, while having every single panel tearing off to reveal a different floral fabric under each one. Triple Swoosh logos on the tongue, while having a second Swoosh under the corduroy as well.

BBC Exclusive adidas NMD Hu Releasing October 20th

Pharrell Williams and Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) are set to release another adidas NMD Hu later this fall season.

Titled, “Heart/Mind,” this adidas NMD features a swirled pattern in a mix of Pink and Purple tones with Japanese characters in its signature bold embroidered text. Purple EVA insert overlays atop a White Boost midsole and Purple trail rubber outsole completes the design.

These are not to be confused with the other BBC “Heart/Mind” colorway in Red, Navy, and Yellow that originally surfaced back in January. That pair is not a BBC-exclusive, unlike this Pink/Purple iteration.

Using New Balance’s recently introduced X-90 Recon as the silhouette, that blends classic design elements from a variety of 990 Series models to create a new shoe that feels right at home sitting alongside the original catalog.

Packer takes things a bit further with their design by outfitting the silhouette with iconic color and material references pulled from nine different archive staples.
