Nike Sportswear’s next series, Evolution of Icons, pays homage to past Air Max releases over the years. Following a look at the kids Air Max 90 that honors releases from 1987-1998, Nike reveals a new Air Max 270 React honoring a 1993-1995 timeline.

This offering of the Nike Air Max 270 React comes with minor callouts to classic Air Max releases includes the OG “Neon” Air Max 95, “Blue Lagoon” Air Max2 Light, and the “Dusty Cactus” Air Max 93. 3M Reflective detailing, the collection’s signature Air Max icons on the insoles, a special-edition card housed in a mashed-up Air Max box completes the design.

Both the adidas Ultra 4D and Ultra Boost DNA models are expected to see a handful of new color options released during the holiday season. Adding to a lineup that consists of a few NASA styles, a Florida Gators pair, and an upcoming White Metallic colorway, adidas Originals will also be presenting this “Signal Green” Pack.

One pair comes dressed in “Dash Grey/Core Black-Signal Green” and the other sports a “Footwear White/Signal Green-Dash Grey” makeup. The first pair features added Pink accents, a White and Signal Green Primeknit upper with Black Three Stripes on the lace cage. The celebration of its 25th Anniversary continues, as Nike reveals a new Multi-Color iteration of the Air Max 95 to go along with the latest reissue OG Neon as well as getting a look at Kim Jones‘ latest collaboration.

This offering of the Nike Air Max 95 features White open mesh on the upper highlighted with tie-dye multicolored prints on each medial and lateral side. A Neutral hue is used on the leather toe overlay and lower mudguard paired with Green and Black acid wash print on the heels. Neon Green contrasting accents on the Swoosh branding, tongue tags, and Air bubbles atop a solid White rubber sole completes the design.

Nike Air Max 97 “Kaomoji” Coming Soon

To release alongside the Air Max 95, Nike will also be releasing a playful “Kaomoji” edition of the Air Max 97 silhouette. Kaomoji is a popular Japanese emoticon style made up of Japanese characters and grammar punctuations used to express emotion in texting and cyber communication.

This edition of the Nike Air Max 97 features a White mesh upper with Reflect Silver, Black patent, and White leather overlays. Other details includes Purple inner lining and embroidered mini Swooshes, Volt and Blue contrasting accents throughout as well as on its Air support units atop a White midsole and Black rubber outsole. New releases are hitting the secondary market at higher price points, and older models are gaining value at an insane pace. StockX analyzed their data and found many Air Jordan 1 models that have doubled or even tripled in value over the last year. They also found that kids Air Jordans are gaining resale value at an even higher rate than the rest.
