In the 35 years since its debut, the Air Jordan 1 has solidified its status as one of the most beloved and iconic silhouettes in sneaker history. And despite decades of highlights, it is possible that 2020 could go down as the single biggest year in Air Jordan 1 history. Of the ten best-selling sneakers on StockX this year, five of them are Jordan 1s.

But Air Jordan 1s aren’t just selling in numbers. Resale prices are climbing as well. The numbers show that 2020 has been an unprecedented Jordan 1 bull market. New releases are hitting the secondary market at higher price points, and older models are gaining value at an insane pace. StockX analyzed their data and found many Air Jordan 1 models that have doubled or even tripled in value over the last year. They also found that kids Air Jordans are gaining resale value at an even higher rate than the rest.
