The Reebok Question Mid “Yellow Toe” is insipid by the Player Exclusive pair worn by Kobe Bryant during his season of sneaker free agency in 2002-03, which was originally planned to release during NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago this past February that was later canceled following the tragic and unexpected death of Kobe in late-January.
This November, Reebok will launch its “Alternates” basketball pack featuring three special takes on heritage models including Kamikaze II and two iterations of Question Mid, each paying homage to historic alternate uniforms of the ‘90s, ‘00s and today.
Included in the pack is the Reebok Question Mid “Yellow Toe” that pays homage to the team’s special all-white alternates typically worn on Sundays and for holiday games, along with a “Black/Gold” Question Mid commemorating Iverson’s revamped team look debuted in ’97 as part of a new era of swagger ushered in by A.I. The third pair is the Kamikaze II “Black/Red” that nods to the rare alternate uniforms of the late ‘90s worn by Shawn Kemp and team.
