With the Brewers playing in the World Series, Nate Ament has a little baseball worked into his footwear for his first NBA game. The rookie will wear the Reebok Engine A 26 “Brew Crew” PE for Milwaukee’s home opener, which the Bucks moved from 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. to avoid the baseball overlap.
The pair introduces suede to the Engine A 26 and puts Ament’s crossed signature logo on the model for the first time. That logo previously appeared on a Rwanda-inspired PE he wore in college, carrying a personal detail from his college footwear into his NBA debut.
Fellow Reebok rookie Darius Acuff also started his season in a special pair, wearing a red Engine A colorway for his Sacramento debut. Ament gets a different version of the updated model, with the Brewers connection shaping his “Brew Crew” edition.
Reebok has confirmed that the Nate Ament Reebok Engine A 26 “Brew Crew” PE was made exclusively for him and will not release to the public.
