Community Poll: Will There Ever Be a Release as Big as the “Galaxy” Foams Again?

The release of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” was one of the biggest releases to-date, that originally debuted on February 24th, 2012.

Two whole weeks before the launch, sneakerheads were sleeping in their cars just for the opportunity to get wristbands and raffle tickets given out from multiple stores. Others went old school and brought out lounge chairs, sleeping bags, and pitched tents, outside their select retail store that was carrying the release, majority of them being Foot Locker House of Hoops.

Nike Foamposite Galaxy Release

Since then, there has only been a few releases that come to mind which you could argue that had a similar excitement to a launch. To name a few, the Yeezy 2, Concord 11, and Supreme Foams.

Do you think there will ever be a release as big as the “Galaxy” Foams again? And if so, what would it take for Nike to create buzz around a shoe like the “Galaxy” Foams?
