The Nike Vomero Premium “Otaku Approved” takes its cues from Harajuku, using the neighborhood’s colorful street style as the backdrop for one of the model’s louder releases. The SNKRS Verified program also revealed the Nike Vomero Plus “Cheat Day,” another colorful release tied to the brand’s expanding Vomero lineup.

Rows of raised accents run across the mesh upper, creating a textured look that becomes more noticeable toward the forefoot. Black laces and a matching tongue pull some of the color back, while small orange Swooshes appear near the toe and tongue.

Underfoot, the oversized Arctic Pink midsole houses orange-tinted Air units along the side. Total Orange continues onto the rubber outsole, giving the bottom of the shoe nearly as much color as the upper.

The Nike Vomero Premium “Otaku Approved” is set to release August 14, 2026 and will retail for $230 via SNKRS and select retailers. Check out the official photos below.
