Snack dust is an unusual place to start for a running shoe, but that is exactly where the Nike Vomero Plus “Cheat Day” gets its look. First previewed through the SNKRS Verified program, the upcoming release borrows from the orange residue left behind after reaching into a bag of chips.
Most of the upper stays in a muted khaki shade. The color begins to change around the front, where an uneven orange fade spreads across the toe and forefoot. It is not treated like a clean gradient. The finish is intentionally blotchy, closer to stained fingertips than a traditional color-blocking setup.
That laid-back reference also makes sense on the Vomero Plus. The model already leans heavily into comfort, using a tall, oversized sole with plenty of cushioning underfoot. This version carries an SP designation as well, placing it within Nike’s Special Projects range rather than the standard Vomero Plus lineup.
The Nike Vomero Plus “Cheat Day” is expected to release during the Fall/Winter 2026 season.
