Introducing the New Balance Made 1978

Back in 1978, New Balance designed the 990, which would go off to be one of the brand’s best sneaker to-date. Now, they revealed the New Balance Made 1978 as a tribute to the classic 990.

The design of the release is inspired by the original 990, but includes a more modern take for today’s era. Built with a premium suede and leather upper, along with perforated details on the “N” logo and toe box. Just as the original 990s, the Made 1978 sits atop a Vibram sole for lightweight and durability.

Look for the New Balance MADE 1978 to release on March 18th at NewBalance.com and other select New Balance retail stores. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
