The New Balance 1890 is getting a metallic silver colorway for Fall 2026, with raised detailing across the upper and a design similar to the ABZORB 2000 “Liquid Metal.” That same nickname has been attached to this release, although New Balance hasn’t officially confirmed it.

Most of the upper is covered in silver, with curved overlays running across the toe box and sides. Small cutouts break up the panels, while sharper shapes appear around the heel. The metallic “N” logos blend into the side panels, and grey laces and mesh lining keep everything in the same color range.

The 1890 also features visible ABZORB cushioning pods that run along the midsole, with dark grey rubber underneath. Compared to the previously revealed New Balance 1890P, this version has more detailing across the upper, particularly around the toe. The heel gets its own angular overlays, replacing the rounded shapes used toward the front.
