New Balance continues to build out the 1890A lineup for Fall 2026, with a new “Pink” colorway now surfacing through retailer images. The upcoming pair takes the model’s technical runner look in a softer direction, using several shades of pink across a mix of mesh and metallic materials.

The upper starts with breathable mesh before adding a series of metallic leather panels around the toe, midfoot and heel. Most of those overlays come finished in a brushed pale pink, giving the shoe some shine without going all the way into a bright metallic finish. Silver is worked around the collar, breaking up the pink while keeping the early-2000s running influence intact.

More pink appears throughout the smaller details, rather than sticking to one shade from top to bottom. The layered construction shifts between lighter and slightly deeper tones, with small New Balance branding and reflective-looking accents tucked into the upper. The lacing system sits close to the foot and follows the same streamlined shape as the rest of the shoe.

That color treatment continues below with the 1890A’s chunky ABZORB cushioning. Light pink covers much of the sculpted midsole, while darker pink sections appear closer to the bottom. The different shades help separate the layers and make the shape of the cushioning more noticeable from the side.

The 1890A is part of New Balance’s growing run of lifestyle sneakers built around archival running design and modern cushioning. Rather than recreating one older model, the silhouette combines familiar performance details with a new construction, and the “Pink” edition keeps that approach intact with its mesh, metallic paneling and oversized sole unit.

The New Balance 1890A “Pink” releases in Fall 2026 through New Balance and select retailers for $180. A specific release date has yet to be announced.
