Ben Simmons signs with Nike, it’s official. The LSU freshman, who is possibly the top pick in the 2016 NBA draft has just signed a multiyear deal with Nike.

Both Nike and adidas made big offers, but it was the Swoosh that won the bidding war and the deal is believed to be one of the largest rookie deals for Nike, but not close to the deals that LeBron James and Kevin Durant signed.
It’s unsure if Simmons will get his own signatures shoe or not, but reports are claiming that it’s a possibility. The Philadelphia 76ers own the No. 1 pick in the June 23rd NBA draft and are reportedly leaning toward selecting Simmons.
