The Nike Giannis Freak 8 “Buckitos” arrives in a bright “Hyper Pink” colorway with a nickname tied to Giannis’ scoring ability. “Buckets” is basketball slang for putting points on the board, while “Buckitos” gives the term a playful twist that fits the shoe’s energetic look.

Hyper Pink handles most of the upper. Black fills in the tongue and lining, while Dynamic Yellow and Hyper Orange show up across the Swooshes, outsole, and tongue details. Neon green Giannis logos finish off the mix without adding much else to an already busy palette.

The color combination carries an obvious South Florida look as Antetokounmpo prepares to join the Miami Heat. He will be the first Nike signature athlete to play for the franchise since LeBron James, though the shoe was previewed months before that move.
