Paige Bueckers has talked about her love for Shirley Temples for years, so the theme behind her latest Nike Basketball shoe feels pretty familiar. The Dallas Wings guard is bringing the cherry soda drink to the GT Cut 4 with a player edition nicknamed “Shirley Buckets”.
Rather than stopping at a red-and-pink color scheme, the design pulls details from the drink itself. Cherry red covers much of the upper, while the medial side uses a softer pink finish. The lateral panels show red syrup mixing with clear soda, with bubbles rising from the midsole and spreading across the side of the shoe. Double cherry graphics appear on the heels.
The GT Cut 4’s asymmetrical shape gives each side enough room to carry a different part of the theme without making the sneaker feel overly busy. Bueckers previously worked the same idea into a Gatorade collaboration inspired by her favorite drink.
The Paige Bueckers x Nike GT Cut 4 PE “Shirley Buckets” releases August 6, 2026, through Nike and select retailers. The retail price is set at $210. Check out the official photos below.
