Jordan Brand is bringing Space Jam back into the spotlight for the film’s 30th anniversary with a large collection that covers sneakers, apparel, sports footwear, and a new campaign built around the movie’s lasting influence. The project also includes a six-part documentary series with Michael Jordan and others connected to the film.

The footwear side of the collection is led by several new Air Jordan 11 releases. One of them closely follows the pair Michael Jordan wore in Space Jam, using royal blue accents, patent leather, double-row stitching on the heel, and a “Jumpman Jam” tongue label. Jordan Brand is also bringing back packaging inspired by the face box used for the shoe’s 2000 release.

Other Air Jordan 11 styles take a much different approach. The women’s “Magic Ball” pair is based on the scene where the Monstars steal NBA players’ talent and uses a color-shifting synthetic upper. The “Green Screen” version comes dressed almost completely in green as a reference to the filmmaking process behind Space Jam, with orange accents tying back to Bugs Bunny and the tracking markers used during production.

The Air Jordan 11 will also be used for baseball and football cleats. The baseball version takes cues from the “Magic Ball” color palette, while the football cleat reworks the original AJ11 design for the field. The football pair is promotional only and will not be sold at retail.

Jordan Brand is going beyond the Air Jordan 11 with several other Space Jam releases, including the Jordan First 1 “Space Jam,” Air Jordan 3 “Lola Bunny”, Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Magic Ball”, and Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Spike “Space Jam.” The collection covers lifestyle, basketball, golf, baseball, and training footwear.

Apparel will be available for men, women, and kids, with designs pulling from characters, graphics, and uniforms seen in the original movie. One of the main pieces is a varsity jacket with retro patches, trading card-style graphics, and a galaxy-inspired lining tied to the Monstars. A Lola Bunny long-sleeve jersey also appears in the collection, along with hoodies, crewnecks, fleece pants, T-shirts, shorts, and basketball pieces.

The anniversary will also include Jordan Brand’s “Greatness Is Never Out of Reach” campaign, which is based on the famous stretching scene from Space Jam. Azzi Fudd, Aaron Judge, Rema, and Teyana Taylor are featured in the campaign, with each person sharing their own story of pushing past limits.

Jordan Brand is also releasing Space Jam: Beyond the Jam, a six-part mini-documentary series that will stream on the brand’s YouTube channel. Michael Jordan will appear in the series along with people who helped make the original film and others who were influenced by it, with the episodes looking back at stories that have not been widely told before.
