The magic basketball that turned the Nerdlucks into the Monstars in Space Jam is behind one of Jordan Brand’s new releases for the movie’s 30th anniversary. That idea lands on the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Space Jam Magic Ball,” which uses shifting colors across much of the upper to recreate the look of the ball from the 1996 film.
Iridescent finishes move between several shades depending on the angle and lighting. Bronze covers the mudguard, while green and purple tones run through the toe box, midfoot, and heel. The eyelet panels shift between purple and blue. Black takes care of the Swoosh, tongue, laces, and lining, giving the brighter panels some separation.
Bugs Bunny gets his own spot on the right tongue through a Hare Jordan version of the Jumpman logo. The left shoe sticks with the regular Jumpman, outlined in green, while white Air Jordan Wings logos are embroidered across the heels.
The usual Jumpman branding is also gone from the insoles. In its place is a Space Jam 30th Anniversary graphic built around Michael Jordan’s familiar Jumpman pose and a series of galactic rings. A black midsole sits above a glow-in-the-dark outsole.
Jordan Brand created special packaging for the release as well. Cartoon drawings cover the box, joined by the same Hare Jordan Jumpman branding used on the shoe.
The Air Jordan 1 Low “Space Jam Magic Ball” releases November 2026 alongside the rest of the Space Jam x Air Jordan collection. Full-family sizing will be offered, priced at $130 for men, $100 for grade school, $80 for preschool, and $70 for toddler sizes.
