Derived from the historic “El Grito de Dolores” by Father Miguel Hidalgo’s historic call to action on September 16, 1810., this release commemorates Mexico’s fight for freedom, while expressing the pride in Mexican diversity through mysticism, culture and traditions.

Two colorways will be released. One combines Sail, Coconut Milk, Pink Green, and Dark Pony. The other features Diffused Taupe, Dark Pony, Sail, and Apple Green. Both Air Jordan 5 editions showcase unique design elements that honor El Grito. A standout detail includes laser-cut leather and debossing inspired by ornamental Mexican architecture.
