Nike’s relationship with the Museum of Modern Art is moving into Jordan Brand territory. MoMA and Jordan Brand are expected to release three Air Jordan 1 High OG colorways in Spring 2027, just as Nike’s partnership with the New York museum reaches its 10-year mark.

No images of the collection have surfaced yet, but Kicks Finder confirms three colorways are currently planned: Black/Grey, Black/Orange, and Black/Purple. Each pair is expected to retail for $205.

The project comes at an interesting time for the Air Jordan 1 High. Jordan Brand is reportedly planning to scale back the number of High OG releases beginning in 2027 after years of putting the model into heavy rotation. That would make the three MoMA pairs part of a smaller Air Jordan 1 lineup next year.

Nike and MoMA first began working together in 2017, with footwear becoming a bigger part of that relationship over time. One of the best-known releases was the black Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 tied to the MoMA Design Store in 2018. The two have continued working together since then, including collaborative socks in 2024.

MoMA Design Store also handled the exclusive launch of the Nike Air Max 95 OG “Reverse Neon” in 2025. That pair was based on an early Sergio Lozano design sketch, continuing the museum’s connection to Nike projects built around design and sneaker history.

How MoMA will approach the Air Jordan 1 is still under wraps, so the first images should give us a much better idea of what separates these pairs from a standard release.

The MoMA x Air Jordan 1 High OG Collection is expected to release in Spring 2027 through MoMA, SNKRS, and select retailers. All three colorways will be priced at $205 each.
