Drafted first overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2020, Anthony Edwards also signed a shoe deal with adidas that same year. A clause in his shoe contract with the Three Stripes stated that he would get his own signature shoe if he were to make the NBA All-Star roster. In 2023, he was added to the roster as a reserve player. Keeping their promise, Ant-Man will now be getting his first official signature shoe for the 2023-24 season.

Today, we get a first look at the adidas Anthony Edwards 1 in two colorways. While all the technical details have yet to be announced by adidas, the shoe does feature a large TPU overlay with ventilated holes that bleeds onto the sole unit. Other details includes a Black bootie with thick rope laces and White Three Stripes logo on the heels. Although not visible at this time, it’s unknown if Edward’s will have his personal logo displayed on the shoe.
