Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” Returns August 8th

The Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” is a beloved non-OG colorway that is making its return in 2026 for the first time since 2010. In celebration of the model’s 35th Anniversary, a release date is set for August 8.

The Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” 2026 will release in full-family sizing. Adult pairs are expected to retail for $215, while grade school sizes will be priced at $155. Preschool pairs will retail for $95, with toddler sizes set at $80.

The look closely mirrors the original 2010 drop, leaning heavily on White and Black. Black suede is used on the base with bold contrast from the tumbled white leather overlays. The split color blocking is what truly makes this pair age well with Jordan fans.

Speckled details give the shoe the “Oreo” look from the black midsole, lace lock, and heel spoiler. Black accents are found on the tongue and interior while white laces and paneling help balance the upper. The translucent outsole returns the icy finish we saw on the originals.

The Jumpman branding shows up on the heel once again, instead of going with Nike Air branding like an OG would have. For collectors aiming for authenticity to the original colorway release, that detail is a key point.

Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” 2026 Release Date

The Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” is slated for an August 8th, 2026 release through select Jordan Brand retailers and SNKRS, retailing at $215 for adult pairs. Check out the official photos below.

Due to its simplistic color scheme, subtle speckles, and extended waiting period since it’s initial release, this retro will likely be one of the better Air Jordan 6 releases of 2026.

Eminem x Air Jordan 4 “Encore” Releases Spring 2027

For years, the Eminem x Air Jordan 4 “Encore” was the kind of shoe most people could only admire from a distance. That’s set to change in 2027, with the colorway finally getting its first retail release. The original pair dates back to 2005, when it was made for friends and family around Eminem’s Encore album. The new version keeps that connection, but it won’t be a straight copy of the original.

The original blue Eminem Air Jordan 4 Encore colorway from 2005.
Eminem x Air Jordan 4 “Encore” (2005)

Only about 50 pairs of the original are believed to exist, which has made the “Encore” one of the toughest Air Jordan 4 collaborations to find. Jordan Brand brought the shoe back in 2017 around Eminem’s Revival album, but that run was even smaller at just 23 pairs. Those never hit stores either, though one pair was made available through a StockX charity campaign benefiting the Marshall Mathers Foundation.

For 2027, the Air Jordan 4 comes dressed in Blue Ribbon, Game Purple, Stealth, and Black. Blue nubuck covers most of the upper, joined by translucent wing eyelets and black accents throughout. Purple replaces the red detailing seen on the original, including on the Jumpman branding, while “Eminem” lettering is tucked behind the tongue.

The shape is also expected to be updated to more closely match the original Air Jordan 4 build. White wraps around the visible Air unit, with Stealth and Black finishing the outsole.

One part Jordan Brand has yet to clear up is the heel. The 2005 pair used Jumpman branding, but the upcoming release could make the switch to Nike Air.

The Eminem x Air Jordan 4 “Encore” releases May 15, 2027, at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS for $230.

Timberland x New Era x MLB Collection Pairs Wheat Boots With Matching Fitted Caps

Timberland and New Era are teaming with Major League Baseball for a seven-team collection centered on the Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot. The Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, Red Sox, White Sox, Astros, and Braves are all included, with matching New Era hats made to go with each release.

The boots keep the familiar Wheat base, so the team details do most of the talking. Club colors appear around the padded leather collar, and embroidered logos are placed on the tongue and heel. The overall shape and look stay close to the standard 6-Inch Boot rather than pushing the collaboration into something completely different.

New Era branding is worked into a few smaller areas. Its logo sits above Timberland’s coin mark, while the New Era flag appears toward the rear of the rubber midsole. The headwear side includes Wheat 59FIFTY fitted caps and 19TWENTY adjustable hats for all seven teams.

Baseball caps and Wheat Timbs have both had a long life outside their original purpose, especially in streetwear. Yankees and Dodgers hats have become common far beyond New York and Los Angeles, while the 6-Inch Boot has been part of that same style conversation for decades. Putting the two together feels pretty straightforward.

The Timberland x New Era x MLB collection releases August 15, 2026, at Timberland, New Era, and MLB flagship stores, along with each brand’s online store.

Detailed Look at 50 Cent’s Reebok G-Unit G6

UPDATE 8/7/26: Additional detailed images of 50 Cent’s Reebok G-Unit G6 have been added below. A release is set for August 20 for $130 in men’s sizing.

Original Story 7/29/26:
The Reebok G-Unit G6 is returning in the original colorway that launched 50 Cent’s sneaker line back in 2003. Tony Yayo confirmed the comeback earlier this summer, and the latest product photos show that Reebok kept the retro close to the pair people remember.

Most of the upper comes in white leather, with light grey suede wrapping the toe and extending along the lower side panels. Red, white, and blue accents appear around the forefoot and heel. Royal blue fills the lining, tongue label, and translucent outsole, while script “G-Unit” embroidery sits near the lateral heel.

Reebok branding is placed across the tongue, heel tab, midsole, and outsole. A red, white, and blue lace piece sits above the perforated toe box, and the shape still carries the heavier low-top build associated with early-2000s basketball-inspired sneakers.

The Reebok G-Unit G6 releases August 20, 2026, through JD Sports and select retailers for $130.

Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacurial” Releases September 2026

UPDATE 8/7/26: Additional retailer images of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacurial” have been added below. A global release is set for September 19.

Original Story 3/10/26:
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacurial” is coming back in 2026, more than a decade after the colorway first appeared. Originally released in 2013, the shoe took inspiration from the Mercurial Vapor football boot, tying Kobe Bryant’s interest in soccer into one of the most distinctive designs from his signature line.

Most of what made the original stand out is still here. Pink fades into purple across the upper, oversized NIKE lettering runs along the lateral side, and Volt brings contrast to the Swoosh, outsole, and heel. Kobe’s logo also remains visible beneath the translucent forefoot.

Official retailer images show a retro that stays close to the 2013 pair rather than trying to update the look too much. The breathable mesh upper and low-cut shape are both familiar, while the Protro build brings the model in line with the performance setup used on newer Kobe 8 releases.

That balance is a big part of why the “Mambacurial” has held up. It still looks tied to the early 2010s, but the gradient, oversized branding, and football-inspired details have enough personality to keep it from feeling dated.

Jalen Brunson recently wore the upcoming Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacurial” while working with players at his NY vs. NY Guard Camp.

Nike Kobe 8 Protro Mambacurial Release Date

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacurial” will release in Europe on August 8, 2026, followed by a U.S. release on September 19, 2026. The shoe will be available through Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com for $200.

Ye’s YEEZY Footwear Arrives at JD Sports on August 13th

Since the adidas partnership ended, YEEZY footwear has mostly existed outside the kind of retail setup sneaker shoppers were used to seeing during the brand’s biggest years. That changes on August 13, when JD Sports begins carrying the line and brings five models into its stores and online shop.

For the past few years, most YEEZY releases have happened outside the normal sneaker-store system, which made buying a pair a very different experience from the adidas days. With JD Sports now involved, the brand gets access to a much wider retail network and gives shoppers another option beyond relying almost entirely on direct releases.

The YEEZY Slide is expected to lead the first round in several colorways, while four other models will also be included in the August release. The recently surfaced YEEZY 800 won’t be part of the opening lineup, although that could change later since the model still hasn’t officially launched.

The JD Sports partnership gives YEEZY one of its broadest retail setups since the adidas era ended and puts the footwear back inside a major sneaker chain. The first release is scheduled for August 13, 2026, with five models expected at launch.

Nike Caitlin 1 “Hot Punch” Releases Holiday 2026

Caitlin Clark is continuing to give fans an early look at her first signature shoe, this time revealing the Nike Caitlin 1 “Hot Punch” on Instagram. The new colorway is part of the model’s planned retail lineup rather than an exclusive made only for Clark.

Hot Punch covers most of the upper, giving the shoe a bright pink finish from heel to toe. Neo Pink softens the look across the midsole and also works its way into the layered Swoosh branding along the sides. Royal blue adds contrast through Clark’s signature logo, breaking up the mostly pink design.

The “Hot Punch” pair adds another bold option to the early Caitlin 1 lineup as Nike prepares to roll out Clark’s debut signature model later this year.

Kanye West Reveals More Yeezy 800 Colorways

UPDATE 8/7/26: Ye recently shared another look at the Yeezy 800, revealing four pastel colorways that give the model a much brighter feel than the muted earth tones often associated with his adidas-era footwear. The retro running shape stays intact, along with the layered mix of mesh, nubuck, and synthetic materials. A release date has yet to be announced, but the Yeezy 800 is expected to arrive during Fall/Winter 2026 through the brand’s website, with JD Sports also a possibility.

Original Story 8/3/26:
Kanye West is moving forward with another independently produced sneaker as the Yeezy brand begins expanding beyond its adidas years. Shortly after reports surfaced that Yeezy footwear would be carried by JD Sports, Ye shared the first look at a new model called the Yeezy 800 on Instagram.

The name brings back the numbered format used across many of Ye’s best-known adidas releases, separating the 800 from newer products that have followed abbreviated naming systems. With a larger retail partner now involved, the shoe could also become one of the first post-adidas Yeezy sneakers to receive wider mainstream distribution.

Design-wise, the Yeezy 800 leans into the retro running style that has become increasingly common across the footwear market. The first pair appears in an all-black finish, combining a ballistic mesh tongue with textured panels around the toe and heel. Nubuck-like overlays wrap the eyestays and forefoot, while layers of loose, gauze-style mesh give the upper a rougher and less polished appearance. A similar texture continues across portions of the midsole.

Ye has only revealed the black colorway so far, though additional versions could surface as the rollout develops. A release date and retail price for the Yeezy 800 have yet to be announced.

Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Grinch” Releases September 2026

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro is borrowing one of the line’s most recognizable color setups, showing up in a neon green look that instantly recalls the “Grinch.”

First shown by European basketball retailer basket4ballers, the pair covers most of the upper in a loud neon lime finish. That color stretches across the toe, underlays, and molded TPU cage, while aquamarine takes over the heel and appears again on the tongue branding. The midsole also fades through a matching green-to-teal gradient.

Red laces will come with the release, giving the shoe its clearest connection to the Kobe 6 “Grinch.” Even with that familiar detail, the Kobe 3 Low still keeps enough of its own shape and design to separate it from the original.

Recent Kobe Protro releases have brought several recognizable themes back across different models, and this pair looks to continue that direction. Nike has not officially confirmed the “Grinch” nickname yet, but the inspiration is hard to miss.

Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” Returns January 2027

First released in February 1997, the Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” is expected to make another comeback in 2027, lining up with the colorway’s 30th anniversary. It originally launched alongside four other OG Air Jordan 12 styles and stayed in the vault for years before returning for the first time in 2012.

1997 Air Jordan 12 Obsidian original release navy white Carolina blue
Original 1997 Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” release.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 12 took inspiration from Japan’s Rising Sun flag, which can be seen in the stitched lines running across the upper. The “Obsidian” colorway gives the model a different look with dark navy leather, crisp white overlays, and Carolina blue accents tied to Michael Jordan’s college days at UNC.

The pair also stood apart from most early Air Jordans because it moved away from the usual Chicago Bulls colors. It ended up becoming the only original Air Jordan 12 colorway that Michael Jordan never wore in an NBA game. Even so, the clean blocking and easy-to-wear colors helped it become a favorite among collectors.

Jordan Brand brought the “Obsidian” back in June 2012 for $160, while a low-top version had already released in 2004. The original high-top build, however, has not had another wide retro release since that 2012 drop.

For 2027, the Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” is expected to stay close to the original. Look for the familiar navy leather upper, white mudguard, Carolina blue accents, and the stitched detailing that gives the Air Jordan 12 its signature look.

Air Jordan 12 Obsidian 2027 Release Date

The Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” is currently expected to release on January 23, 2027, for $215. The pair is set to launch through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers, with more details likely to surface closer to the release.

Foot Locker Looks Back at 50+ Years of Sneaker Culture

Foot Locker has been around for a lot of sneaker history, and its latest campaign puts more than 50 years of it into one two-minute commercial. Called “It Will Always Be Foot Locker,” the spot jumps through different generations of sneakers, athletes, and memorable moments along the way.

Stan Smith opens things up with the adidas shoe that still carries his name today. Not long after, the commercial moves into basketball, showing Moses Malone alongside the white-and-red Nike Air Force 1 before heading deeper into the sport’s sneaker history.

Michael Jordan’s arrival in 1985 is included, as is Dee Brown pumping up his Reeboks before the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, and LeBron James appear later, bringing the timeline closer to today. Caitlin Clark also gets some screen time alongside her upcoming signature sneaker.

Watching everything play out back to back shows just how different sneaker culture looks now. Shoes that started on basketball courts became part of everyday style, while signature sneaker deals helped athletes build names far beyond their respective sports. Even buying a pair has changed. What once meant heading to the mall can now involve apps, online launches, raffles, and plenty of waiting.

Foot Locker has been there through most of those changes, which is really the point of the campaign. Anyone who has followed sneakers for years will probably recognize quite a few scenes, while newer fans get a quick look at some of the people and shoes that came before them.

Nike Vomero Plus “Cow Print” Brings the Farm to Running Shoes

Cow print has moved from boots and loafers into one of the less expected corners of footwear: performance running. The women’s Nike Vomero Plus “Cow Print” brings the 2026 trend to one of Nike Running’s most popular road models without changing the shoe’s usual build.

Black cow-inspired graphics cover the mesh upper and tongue, giving the Vomero Plus a much louder look than most of its general-release colorways. Sail pony hair adds texture to the Swooshes, while the rest of the upper stays close to the materials normally used on the model.

Light Orewood Brown runs across the ZoomX midsole, softening the black-and-white pattern above it. University Red appears underfoot, adding the only brighter color to the design.

The women’s Nike Vomero Plus “Cow Print” is priced at $190 and has already begun arriving at select retailers. A wider release through Nike.com is expected.

adidas Ballerina Spikeless Golf Shoes Trades the Studio for the Golf Course

The adidas Ballerina is stepping onto the fairway with a women’s version that retains its signature slender silhouette while incorporating all of the essentials for golf.

The model still carries the influence of the adidas Taekwondo shoe, and Bad Bunny helped bring the Ballerina name to a wider audience in 2025. This version is a little more structured than the lifestyle pairs, but the low-profile look remains the main idea.

A lightweight, water-resistant upper sits over a knit inner bootie for a close, flexible fit. Flex grooves are worked into the sides, while the 3-Stripes branding runs vertically down the heel.

adidas finishes the shoe with a spikeless rubber outsole made for traction on the course without limiting where it can be worn afterward.

The women’s adidas Ballerina Spikeless Golf Shoe is expected to release later during Fall 2026 in “Silver Metallic,” “Core Black,” and “Footwear White/Silver Blue” colorways.

ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 “Ivory/Cream” Available Now

The ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 “Ivory/Cream” maintains the textured running-shoe aesthetic that helped the silhouette shine nearly two decades ago. A mesh upper in ivory covers the majority of the upper with metallic silver accents covering the toe, eyestays, sides, and heel.

White ASICS branding spans across the sidewalls with burgundy accenting. This is echoed in the darker pieces of rubber on the tongue, heel, and visible GEL pads. Cream-colored laces lace up over top of the mesh tongue. An off-white midsole completes the look that gives it an aged feel while maintaining the technical vibe of the shoe.

The visible burgundy GEL cushioning hits on the heel and forefoot. You’ll also notice translucent foam in the midfoot that helps separate the sole into sections. Black rubber covers the ground in higher abrasion areas. Open mesh, reflective overlays, and exposed foam helps keep this refreshed instead of opting for a minimal lifestyle reinterpretation.

Pick up the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 “Ivory/Cream” now at ASICS.com for $165.

Nike Teases a New Kobe Shoe at the Mamba Invitational

Nike slipped a pretty interesting Kobe detail into this year’s Mamba Invitational in Los Angeles, and it may be our first look at something new coming from the line.

The event included an exhibit looking back at the design and performance work behind Kobe Bryant’s signature sneakers. One of the main pieces on display was “Sole Obsession,” a mixed-media installation created by artist Troy “TYP” Murray for the Invitational.

The artwork features molded casts of 13 Kobe outsoles, spanning the Kobe 1 through the Kobe 11 and the Kobe AD. Sitting alongside those familiar designs is one sole that hasn’t been seen before, and it appears to be tied to a future Kobe project Nike is currently working on.

Murray built the piece around the details that shaped Bryant’s footwear over the years. Lining up the outsoles shows how the series changed from model to model while keeping performance at the center of each design.

That mystery outsole may be more than an unused concept, too. Kobe Brand VP and GM Dan Sunwoo confirmed that Nike has been revisiting unfinished prototypes that were originally developed with Bryant, meaning some of those older ideas could eventually make their way into new releases.

For now, Nike hasn’t shared the name or full design of the next Kobe model. Stay tuned for more updates.

Kevin Durant’s “Candies” shoe series continues with the Nike KD 19 “Candy Paint Black”, which dresses the silhouette completely in black, allowing the shoe’s design and finishes to shine. This sneaker is one of the most understated in KD’s Candy series, featuring minimal color on the outside.

A glossy molded shell covers much of the upper and flows into the heel, darkening and coating the shoe when light hits it just right. Black mesh tops the tongue for some needed texture while the laces, lining, Swooshes, midsole, and outsole remain a consistent black. Despite being all over the place, the Nike KD 19 is easy to digest thanks to the materials alternating between sleek, glossy, and textured panels.

Angled supports can be seen around the sides of the shoe, which extends into a chunky heel that adds some needed depth to the silhouette. On-brand branding is found on the tongue and laterally at the forefoot to keep the outside of the shoe as minimal as possible. KD logos on the insoles are seen in Stadium Green, which help break up all of the black around your feet.

The Nike KD 19 “Candy Paint Black” is expected to release August 19, 2026 on Nike.com and select retailers for $155.
