Yeezy appears ready to make a real return to physical retail, with JD Sports expected to become the brand’s exclusive footwear partner. For an operation that has handled most recent launches on its own, the deal would bring a much larger store network and a more dependable way to get products into customers’ hands.
Talk around the partnership grew after the Yeezy Slide, also known as the YS-01, briefly showed up on the JD Sports release calendar with an August 13 date. The listing was later removed, but JD Sports is still expected to sell Yeezy footwear online and at select locations. It would be the brand’s first major step back into traditional stores since the adidas partnership came to an end.
Earlier orders placed directly through the brand’s website were often met with shipping delays and few updates along the way. Delivery appeared to improve with the more recent YS-02 launch, but an established retailer should offer better tracking, more consistent fulfillment, and the option to purchase pairs in person.
How large the rollout will be is still unclear, including the number of JD Sports stores expected to carry the shoes. Both online availability and a wider in-store release are believed to be part of the plan.
Yeezy Slides are expected to release through JD Sports in August 2026 for $44. Pairs should also continue to be sold through Yeezy’s website for $40.
