Yeezy footwear is returning to a major retailer for the first time since Ye and adidas ended their partnership. JD Sports will carry the Yeezy YS-01 Slide later this summer, giving shoppers an alternative to ordering directly from the Yeezy website.

The molded foam slide remains one of the few former Yeezy designs that Ye can continue producing on his own. While adidas controls the rights to several sneakers created during the partnership, Ye owns the design patent connected to the original Yeezy Slide.
Very little separates the YS-01 from the version once sold by adidas. The overall shape, construction, and underfoot feel are nearly the same, but the independent model removes any branding tied to the Three Stripes.
Ye initially priced the YS-01 at $20 before increasing it to $40 through Yeezy’s online store. Even after the increase, it remains far below the $90 retail price previously charged for adidas Yeezy Slides. Chocolate, Blue, Grey, Cream, Brown, Tan, and Black are among the colorways released so far.
Buying directly through Yeezy has also come with inconsistent shipping times. Some customers have received their orders within a reasonable window, while others have reported waiting weeks or months for delivery. Selling the slides through JD Sports should make them easier to find while offering a more familiar ordering and pickup process.
The Yeezy YS-01 Slides will release through JD Sports on August 13, 2026, for $44. Colorways have not been confirmed, but pairs are expected to be available online and at select JD Sports stores.
