Kevin Durant Reveals Nike KD 19 “Candy Paint” Pack

Most of the collection sticks to a nearly one-color build. Red, orange, yellow, purple, green, and black cover the KD 19 from the upper through much of the sole, giving each pair the glossy, saturated look behind the pack’s name. Durant’s reveal included familiar styles such as the red-and-orange debut pair, “Purple Stuff,” and “Butter Candy.”

The black and green editions offered the biggest update. Both had only appeared in limited previews, including a brief showing at a Hibbett event in Houston. Nike has not shared official names for either colorway, though both fit neatly into the candy-colored direction surrounding the shoe.

Houston’s custom-car scene plays a major role in the story. “Candy paint” has long been tied to the city’s car culture, and Drake used the phrase during Nike’s promotional rollout for Durant’s latest signature model. That connection has given the KD 19 a recognizable theme before the full range reaches stores.

The Nike KD 19 “Candy Paint” Pack is expected to roll out throughout Summer and Fall 2026. The red colorway is scheduled for July 15, followed by the yellow pair on July 29. The black edition is expected August 19, while the green colorway is currently set for September 6.
