To mark SLAM Magazine’s 30th anniversary, Steph Curry and Curry Brand have joined forces for a stunning collaboration, inspired by Curry’s first cover in 2013. The “SLAM” Pack combines Curry’s impact on the game with SLAM’s legendary storytelling, honoring both legacies through two standout sneakers: the Curry 12 and the Spawn Flotro.
The collection takes design cues from SLAM Issue #173, famously showcasing Curry as “The Can’t Miss Kid.” Both pairs incorporate a vibrant yellow and blue palette, reminiscent of Curry’s Golden State Warriors colors. Adding a personal touch, each sneaker features an all-over print of Curry’s 10 SLAM covers, layered subtly throughout the uppers.
Other standout details include a SLAM-branded woven label stitched along the heel, creating a collector-worthy aesthetic. Each pair is meticulously numbered out of just 30 total units, reflecting Curry’s iconic jersey number and SLAM’s milestone anniversary.
Steph debuted both the Curry 12 and Spawn Flotro “SLAM” editions on the court in fitting fashion—dropping a classic 30-point performance. The exclusivity of these pairs as Player Exclusives (PEs) ensures they remain reserved for Steph and those close to him, but their impact reverberates across sneaker culture.
This collaboration is more than sneakers—it’s a celebration of basketball’s rich history, Curry’s meteoric rise, and SLAM’s influence on hoops culture over three decades.
While the Curry 12 / Spawn Flotro “SLAM” won’t hit retail, their presence cements Curry’s legendary partnership with SLAM as one for the ages.
