Sneaker media were out at Under Armour’s Baltimore headquarters getting an early look at the Fox 3. It’s De’Aaron Fox’s third signature shoe, but the first one to come directly from Under Armour after the first two released through Curry Brand.
The Fox 3 was first seen during the 2026 NBA Playoffs and keeps Flow cushioning and traction at the center of the setup. Under Armour changed the sole with a more segmented design, while the grip remains built around Fox’s quick cuts, hard stops, and bursts of speed. Rubber-outsole versions are also planned for outdoor play, though those pairs may arrive after the standard Flow releases.
Fox wanted the third model to stay low to the ground while improving security, containment, and overall weight. The finished shoe comes in around 11.5 ounces, making it the first entry in his signature series to weigh less than a pound. Bold color options and Flow traction were also among the features he wanted to carry into the new design.
The familiar midfoot strap from the first two Fox models is gone this time around. Instead of keeping it as a functional piece, the design uses graphics around the midfoot to reference the look without adding extra material. The change also gives the Fox 3 a cleaner shape for anyone wearing the shoe away from the court.
The debut “Gamer” colorway uses a light blue base with black detailing and a black-to-pink gradient running across the midsole. More pairs are already lined up, including the “Arctic Fox” and “Future Fox.” Under Armour has also created Team Bank versions for sponsored college programs, along with a Black/Cyber Green edition for players taking part in the Baltimore Next City Classic on August 15.
The Under Armour Fox 3 “Gamer” releases September 4, 2026, followed by the “Arctic Fox” on September 18 and the “Future Fox” on October 2. Adult pairs will retail for $125, while kids’ sizing will be priced at $100.
